i love ice cappacinos.. and i love timbits.. there the round part of the donut there small and ug et them by the dozzen :drool:

Is Starbucks too expensive, Brenna? I don't go there either since I can't really drink coffee. I used to buy fresh ground coffee there for my boss that we would brew in the office back about ten years ago. It was very good, but I can't drink it anymore. The only time I've been in Starbucks since then was with TeeJay last October when she was visiting me. That iced drink she loves is delicious. But I don't think I could do a whole one by myself.

My boss nowadays often brings in Munchkins from DD and I will eat the regular glazed ones, but that's all. My occasional morning stop is Chick-Fil-A, which I bet none of you has ever had. It's kind of a Southern thing.

Well, we're kind of off-topic, but it's no big deal. Looks like our Chrissue for the day is coffee shops and that's OK because we were talking about Chris being spotted in one.

Haha, I haven't really noticed the price difference between Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts. DD is pretty much just a local obsession. And for good reason, in my opinion. I don't eat donuts, but the coffee is addictive.

I'm familiar with Chick-Fil-A, actually. There's several of them in Arizona, and there was one in the student union when I was at Arizona State last year. I've never eaten there though, since I try to stay away from fast food as much as possible.

Wow, I didn't know Chick-Fil-A was in AZ. I've only been there once, to Safford, in a failed attempt to visit the Pope Scope. Didn't see any locations there, but it's kind of the middle of nowhere. Even so, I adored Safford.

I don't think I've ever been to Safford. Our house was in Scottsdale, and I recall there being at least one or two Chick-Fil-A restaurants within 20 minutes of my house. I have a friend who loves their food. Is it similar to KFC?

It's far less fatty. It's all based on all natural, all white breast fillet in various incarnations. The strip salad is very good. I love their minis for breakfast. They're tiny nugget sandwiches. And the nuggets are just chunks of white meat. The breading is very light. It's really tasty. So tasty that McDonald's Southern breast fillet sandwich and biscuit is a direct knock-off of the Chick-Fil-A sandwich and biscuit.

Also, it's a good organization, founded by a really special family of who does a lot of good in the world.

It may be the least disgusting fast food going these days.

You know, I had some kind of a laugh moment when I downloaded some audiobooks from librivox.org. You can read for them, but only books that are in public domain. I downloaded a few because I wanted to hear some reading in English and suddenly a woman said "read by XXX, Marquette Michigan." Can you imagine my face after hearing that? LOL

I bought my friend Elaine this book called Close Encounters Of The Fourth Kind: Alien Abduction, UFO's and The Conference At M.I.T. today. She's at the retreat in Lily Dale, New York this weekend. Yesterday, she went to a lecture called, The Importance Of UFO's and tonight she went on a ghost walk. We love this stuff.

I re-purchased a hardcover copy of one of my all-time favorite books today. It's called Dreamland: A Novel Of The UFO Cover-Up. It's by Hilary Hemingway (niece of Ernest) and her husband, Jeff Lindsay. My old paperback copy was once chewed on by my beloved, Lacey and since I moved 6 years ago, I can't find it anyway. Its sequel, Dreamchild still inhabits a special place on my bookshelf. I wish Hil & Jeff would write another book. It should at least be a trilogy.

my step dad is huge into aliens, and lochness and sea monsters and big foot. i myself love cold cases. and ghost stories.. and paranormal activity.. i hve a ghost in my apartment my moms father my grandfather watches me and i love him dearly and i dont doubt hes here ill tell u stories sometime about it. i used to when i was younger also read up about the wiccan religion with my friends.. was really thinking about it. for a while.
