I doubt he would remember me.  It wouldn't be as funny but you can ask him how many girls he made pass out... I'm sure I'm not the first/only one.

That question would make him turn three shades of purple with embarrassment.  He just doesn't understand the effect he has on women.

Does anyone who watches Buffy remember the episode Him in season 7, where everyone falls in love with RJ, that guy in the jacket?

Chris reminds me of that, except he doesn't need any magic to lure women in.

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

Of course I remember that ep.  Not one of my favorites, but I understand what you're saying.  LOL!  Maybe we should mention that to him sometime.

I swear he turned red when I told him the girls liked that he took off his shirt in Alpha Dog.  And I don't think he really believed me when I told him that Keith breaking down makes people cry.  Not that I want him to have a big, fat, obnoxious ego, but come on, dude!

Maybe we should get Diane to explain to him that he is incredibly appealing.  He might believe her.

For the what role would you like to see in question. Wicker Park. Just cause I want to see him do the very last scene where he is with the REAL Lisa at the airport. Josh Hartnett did a good job, but I think I would have like to see Chris cry that one out. It made me sad, with Chris it would have hit me 10x's harder lol

He's the only guy I can watch cry. Other guys, it's uncomfortable because for some reason I feel weird when I see guys cry. But he does it so well that it never seems awkward. I like how you guys gave him the title The King Of Man-Crying.:) Very well put.

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

Yeah, Paige, you'll get tears on JoA, for sure.  But American Gun has this gut-wrenching meltdown scene in it where he's just blubbering.  And it'll rip you to shreds because you totally understand why he's so upset.  It's just great, great work.  You can certainly rent that one from Netflix.  I also have a VHS copy of it that you can have, if you want it, since I've got the DVD now.  Just let me know.

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

I can give you an answer to your question for Chris...

"If he was truly a Star Wars fan"

From our interview in January...

Deb: Have you ever been that rabid about anything like these guys (in Fanboys) are? Can you sort of imagine?

Chris: Well, I was a huge Star Wars fan as a kid, for sure. I have a huge collection of toys and I've watched the movies hundreds of times.

and...

Deb: If you could have been any of the characters in the Star Wars films, which character would you wanna be?

Chris: I would be the emperor.

And...

Deb: What got you interested in doing the film (Fanboys)?

Chris: Uh, being a Star Wars fan. Totally being a Star Wars fan. And then, uh, Jay Baruchel and Sam Huntington and Dan Fogler signing up. And Kristen Bell. As soon as I heard about the cast. Me and Sam were the last one to get cast, and so, uhm. Initially me and Sam read for both roles. Or at least I read for his role and mine and I think, I'm pretty positive he read for both roles, mine and his. And they came to us and they said, Hey, look, so we're gonna have you read one more time because we want both of you guys to do it, but we're just not sure which parts yet we want you guys to play. Uhm, and so, uh, so when I knew it was gonna be the both of us, no matter what was coming, cool. All right, I'm in. So... That, and I kinda dug, like, yeah, I just dug the story. It's cu— It's fun. You know, and I grew up watching Star Wars, so I was kinda like, Yeah, this is a cool movie to live out in my lifetime, so...

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

Deb and I are kinda hoping that the guys will come down to Dragon Con in Atlanta in two weeks because both Deb and I will be in Atlanta then. It would be awesome if we could meet and greet him there, snag him for another interview. We've e-mailed him and asked if he's gonna come, but he hasn't replied. So either that means he doesn't know yet or for whatever reason chose not to answer.

But we will sure be to trying to get him for another interview some time, maybe over the phone or maybe ask if he'd be willing to answer more questions for us by e-mail. No idea when that'll be, though. Seems unlikely that we'll meet him again, once the Fanboys convention circus is over, but you never know.

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

Um, okay... I was told to come here and take the quiz, so here I go. I haven't seen much of Chris besides Joan of Arcadia, so my answers will be limited. I'll try coming back again after I see some more movies.

What's the first thing your ever saw Chris in?
I didn't know it was him at the time, and I didn't even pay attention to actors, but when I was much younger I saw him in this Disney Channel Original movie called Up, Up, and Away! He played the hyper-active side-kick character, and he was really young. When I found out he was in that movie, it broke me.

What's your favorite thing he's done so far?
Well, I love his work in Joan of Arcadia overall (not much more I can answer, considering I've only seen two other Chris movies).

What's your favorite scene in that movie/show?
Oh, gosh, what to say... I loved the scene in "Jump" where Helen reads Adam's mother's note, and the scene between Adam and Joan in the hotel in "The Gift". I don't want to say this, but I like the infamous courtroom scene to break-up in "Trial and Error" (because of his awesome acting, not the outcome).

Who's your favorite Chris character and why?
Gee, I'm a real Joan of Arcadia girl here. I completely love Adam. I can't even bring myself not to like post-Bonnie Adam. He's so sweet and sensitive and completely adorable. I compare him to a puppy.

Do you remember the first time you Googled Chris?  What site did you land on?
First time? Uhhhh... Early this summer. I found out who the actors on Joan of Arcadia were and I googled him because I loved Adam so much. I landed on... wow, you know what, I think I landed here.

What were you looking for when you found our website or how else did you stumble across it?
Heh, see previous answer. Well, actually, I think my friend and I stumbled across this site while searching for Joan of Arcadia stuff a few days before I found it on my own. I don't recall anymore...

What role in what movie --- any movie --- past, present or potential would you love to see Chris play?
... Wow. This is a tough question. I can honestly say my mind is blank when it comes to past movies. I'll probably go back later and say, "You know what? That's what he'd be good in, but I think of any right now. Potential movies to see him in? Well, I like myself a nice drama/romance type, myself. Something to show off his sensitive side again, and of course to see his adorable puppy-eyes. Or maybe a role that he hasn't much played, like a villain-type character. I'd still find a way to love him, though.

Seen any Chris movies in a theatre?
*sigh* No. My first time will probably be seeing Fanboys next January. Unless he does anything else first, that is.

Own any Chris movies?
Ack, big no again. I don't even own the Joan of Arcadia DVDs! I'll have to fix that.

Have anything special recorded off TV?
... I just need to stop answer questions like this. sad

What do you like most about Chris?
His hair and his eyes. Oh, man, do I love his eyes. On his acting ability, the way he can make me laugh when doing something comical, and still turn around and move me to tears when doing something serious. Basically, I love the way he can do opposite genres (I'll probably expand on this more after seeing more movies).

If you could ask Chris one question, what would you ask?
Can I give you a hug? ... No, seriously, at the moment that's my question. tongue One person keeps saying I should ask him to marry me, but I would never seriously ask that. :embarrassed:

Do you have any of Chris's lines that you can quote off the top of your head?
"I talk to angels."
"Don't you have an appointment in the Biology Closet?"
"I was too busy looking at you."
"Uncallenged." (Okay, that one's cheating)

Have you met Chris in person? If so, tell us about it.
... No. *gloom* I hope to someday, though.

If you could have him autograph one item or photo, what would you pick and why?
Ummmm... I don't really know. I want to say a hoodie because of Adam's usual attire, but then I couldn't wash it. X_X Ahhh... I'd probably have him autograph a promo pic from Joan of Arcadia, since it's the thing I know him best from, and I don't really have any other ideas.

What would you want to see Chris doing next out of these?
a) a very dark and suspenseful thriller
b) a sitcom
c) a quirky and/or romantic comedy
d) a horror movie
e) a drama TV show
f) an action movie
g) a dramatic movie
h) a medical or cop show
i) a theater play
j) something else entirely (if so, what?)

I'd pick... c, e, g, or i. C because I'm a romantic fool, and seeing Chris in one would make me giggle (and probably get me thrown of the theater). E and G because I love drama, though I'd prefer E so I could get more attached to the character. And I because I just freaking want to see him in person. big_smile

Okay, there you go. Not much variety to it, but it's something, right?

My life long dream is to somehow get Adam Rove into a puppy-suit. Until then, my imagination will have to tide me over.

Thanks to Laura AKA magicalturkey for finding my avatar. I am not worthy.
