Didn't see the tux pic.  Glad you found it.  Yeah, the tight 80's clothes with the post-Calvin-body.  Yum!

It's not Vista's fault, Anne. I had to make a screencap because you can't right-click the picture. Gotta know all the tricks. wink

Aww... he's so cute!  I'm not crazy about the super short hair though... it makes him look really young, maybe that's what they're going for.    Longer hair plz.

Well, you know I'm a total Adam-In-The-Tree-Hippie-Hair-Sideburns gal.  But I think he looks super-cute in his tight 80's clothes as Danny.  I haven't had a nice clear look at that sweet little chin cleft in ages either.  big_smile

Re: The Education Of Charlie Banks

If it takes place in the 80's (depending on the exact year) the short hair is good.  There was a very fine line then between a bowl cut and a mop top.

Don't know what year, but it's definitely the 80's.  We're supposed to see tight white pants at some point.  big_smile

Re: The Education Of Charlie Banks

Hey, TeeJay?  See my crappy attempt at an av?  Can you make me one of *normal* size?  I just can't figure out how to make ACDSee save at exactly 80X80.

Re: The Education Of Charlie Banks

I'll fix your avatar when I get home. Don't have proper image editing software here at work either.

I'm not sure if I really like the TEOCB look. I never liked those tight jeans and he just looks too young with the short hair and no sideburns. I like that he's clean-shaven, though. Tough trade-off. wink But if the movie's good, then I'll take Chris in any look. Put it in the theaters or on DVD already!

Re: The Education Of Charlie Banks

Clean-shaven is good, but I don't really dig the 80ies look either. But I guess the movie's worth watching anyway. Anything with Chris is watchable. big_smile And since there is kind of a JoA reunion in this movie I will hopefully not be missing it.

Yeah, I really like the way he looks in those photos, short hair or not. And I'm actually really excited to see the scene where he's wearing the black tank top & tight pants.

Re: The Education Of Charlie Banks

More praise about "our guy":

My music in another movie...

Yay and hooray, a film called "The Education of Charlie Banks", which uses a song of mine prominently three times, won the "Made in New York" award at the Tribeca film festival.

The film was directed by Fred Durst and shows a lot of smarts and sensitivity, much much more than you would imagine if you have followed Durst's music career. This is a serious about face for the guy and he deserves a lot of credit for making the turn so successfully.

It's a really moving film with great and original casting: Jesse Eisenberg - who is definitely one of my favorite new actors simply for his performance in The Squid and the Whale - and a bunch of actors I'd never heard of but who were all really wonderful. Jason Ritter and Chris Marquette in particular.

Anyway, sorry for the puff piece here. I just feel really proud and wanted to spread the word about the movie.

Yeah, Fredo is the guy I had some conversations on IMDb with.  I posted some of his comments about the movie here before.  Nice guy.
