Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

Well, Ashley, if you look back at some of the answers others gave, you'll find a lot of us droning on endlessly about JoA.  Not something you should ever feel guily about around here.  We just adore that show!

You should really think of another question to ask Chris though because you probably wouldn't have to ask him for a hug.  He's a hugger by nature it seems.  All I expected was a handshake --- which would've been fine since I love his beautiful hands --- but he was the one who said, "No, how 'bout a hug?" that first time we met him.  And the second time, he took my hand and pulled me in for a quick peck on the cheek.  big_smile

Also, if you love his eyes, you're gonna be in big trouble when you meet him because he makes great, sustained eye contact with those incredibly warm baby browns of his.  wink

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

:embarrassed: Hehe, now I'm getting all giggly... I've hugged actors before (voice actors), and the first one I hugged basically did the same thing that Chris did. I asked for a hand-shake, he said, "Aw, I'm more of a hug kind of guy" and then I squealed and hugged him. xD I probably will have to think of another question, then... Hmmm... What about... Do you have a favorite role you're done? If he's already answered that... Then I'm totally screwed. @.@

... *melts* Oh, man, if I ever meet him *knock-on-wood*, I'll be a pile of jelly.

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

He has answered that, actually.  The Tic Code is his favorite thing he's ever done.  And when you see it, you'll understand why.  After that, he's most proud of Alpha Dog.

And yeah, you might melt a little.  But he's such a down-to-earth sweetie that he'll have you feeling very comfortable in his presence very quickly.

Hehe, yeah, that's only IF I ever meet him. =P I doubt I'll be able to any time soon.

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

There's a few things I'd like to comment on, so here we go:

Digi-Dragon wrote:

What's your favorite scene in that movie/show?
[...] I don't want to say this, but I like the infamous courtroom scene to break-up in "Trial and Error" (because of his awesome acting, not the outcome).

I know how you feel. I hated what Adam did in that episode, but in a weird, twisted way I loved that scene (or those scenes) as well. It was truly inspired acting, both on Amber's and Chris's part, and I can't say that often enough. It breaks my heart every time I watch it, but that's just my kind of substitute agony. I have this theory as to why some of us enjoy it so much to watch people on TV or in the movies go through intense emotional misery. My theory (by Anne Elk, which is mine and belongs to me--sorry, Monty Python flashback) is that it's our own kind of substitute agony. That way we can feel the pain without being personally affected by it. But let's move on...

Who's your favorite Chris character and why?
Gee, I'm a real Joan of Arcadia girl here. I completely love Adam. I can't even bring myself not to like post-Bonnie Adam. He's so sweet and sensitive and completely adorable. I compare him to a puppy.

Absolutely. I love post-Bonnie Adam too. Well, again, in a sort of weird, twisted way. He's just too guilt-ridden and hurt and sorry and miserable not to. Right? ADAMNEEDSAHUG!

What role in what movie --- any movie --- past, present or potential would you love to see Chris play?
I don't really know.

Can I change my answer to that?  I just read the Twilight book series, and for whatever reason I've been seeing Chris as Edward Cullen since I started.  Just his mannerisms remind me of Chris and there's a lot of focus on Edward's hands... how does that not scream Chris Marquette?  He's probably a bit too old, but he'd be perfect otherwise I think.   And also, they'd need to put contacts in his eyes and we all love his baby browns, so that would probably ruin it of us at least.

Talking about contact lenses makes me think of this. (Brace yourself before you click the link, it's seriously freaky. Deb, you know this one already and I know it freaked you out.)

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

That actually looked a little bit like the manip I made of Chris as Edward.

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v223/ … edward.jpg

I also make him with red eyes (which is just terrifying) and with black eyes which is just plain strange.... and for anyone who never read Twilight you're probably wondering what is wrong with the poor boy's eyes that they keep changing colors.

Oh, God... with the exception of the fangs that is Edward.   He'd actually take offense at the fangs.

LOL! No, don't worry. This was as far as I took it. I have a pic of a Linus Christmas Stormtrooper, though.

That's good.

Just in case you haven't actually picked up on it yet, Edward is a vampire.  Who doesn't have fangs.

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

Yeah, if Chris gets the lead in Going After Cacciato, only HUGE things will happen for him.  Whoever gets that role will be a star before it's all said and done.  It's an amazing book and under Nick Cassavetes' direction, the movie would be incredible.  And that part is unbelievably perfect for Chris.  We know he and Big Nick had a meeting about the movie in January and that he probably read the script in February, beyond that we've been able to learn exactly nothing.  But it wouldn't be shooting until probably late 2008 anyway since Nick is working on something else right now: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0770759/.

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

Twilight will basically get Chris a bigger teenage following, as if he really needs one.  Right now they're looking at Hayden Christensen as Edward for the movie... I know, Chris and Hayden look nothing alike.   But, you know, they have Star Wars in common.

Oh, I've heard of Twilight (I think). Every teenage girl I know with a love of - or fetish for - vampires and/or anime loves that series. Er, maybe it should be the other way around there... *cough* Anyway, yeah, it would give him a bigger teenage following. It would be a good role for him *hasn't actually read the books*.

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

I highly recommend the books if you like that kind of stuff.  I actually can't stand anime and I really didn't have a vampire fetish, I just thought the book sounded interesting.   Right now, the only problem I can think of for Chris not to be perfect is that Edward's hair is auburn and not brown, Chris would probably look rediculous with reddish hair and I think fans would come with their pitch forks if Edward suddenly turned burnette just for the movie.

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

I'd really enjoy seeing him in anything where he played the sort of dark, dramatic romantic lead.

Well, then, Brenna, it's too bad you can't see Chris as James Cullen (from Huff) in my imagination.  tongue
