Re: Fanboys

I was about to say the same thing Tina!
About School for Scoundrels that is. I was thinking, wait a sec. I own that movie!
Maybe she's referring to the trailer being on the DVD.

Hey, shall we start a Fanboys release date pool? I bet you one yet unreleased Fanboys photo and I say it's Feb 1, 2008.

I want a Linus Inaction Figure.  It just lays around on beds, sofas and hammock's with a come-hither look on it's face.

LOL! Oh yeah, that would be my preference too. It has to talk as well. Or maybe just yawn.

Re: Fanboys

Linus can be like those annoying dolls that pee all over the place then make you change them... only he would spray beer everywhere.   I'm having too much fun with this.

Re: Fanboys

Nnn, pushed back again? I think I'm with Tina on this- February 1st, 2008. I hope it's in January, though. ...I secretely almost hope it's pushed back, though, because then there'll be a better chance that I can see it on the night it comes out.

Re: Fanboys

Here's something very cool:

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0489049/boa … d/85527515

It's nice to know that Adam Goldberg at least thinks the movie's coming out on time.  He needs a thumping for not mentioning Chris, but I guess Chris isn't busy at the moment, so he doesn't qualify as hot.  Grrrrrrrrrrr!  Stupid casting directors, get your heads out of your butts and put the man to work!

Well, AFTER the new Fanboys material gets done.

Re: Fanboys

Due to the wearing of my Fanboys shirt, I have gotten a few people interested in seeing the movie. xD Mostly Star Wars fans (eh, actually only two...), but when I pointed out Chris, one girl commented that she could "see why I like him" with a grin. ^_^

I want the movie to come out in January too, but... Argh, I'm selfish. I wanna see it the first night it comes out, and until I know I'll be able to, there'll always be this little "hmm, maybe if it comes out a week later..." kind of mentality. After recent events, I think there's a better chance of me actually being home that weekend, and most probably seeing it with my friends, but I'm not going to prepare months in advance until we know something definate.

We can still hope, though.

Re: Fanboys

I just quickly need to vent, so cover your ears (or eyes in this case). I don't get why the Fanboys guys don't change their MySpace layout. It's still white writing on a white background in Firefox. I have alerted them to this twice before and just now I wrote one last message and included a screencap so that they can see what I mean. And I have phrased it nicely. The page has more than 2000 Friends. Am I the only one who's aggravated by this? Am I the only Firefox user? Am I just nitpicky? I mean, Kyle himself is pushing the page. He talked about it in the Force Cast and he keeps sending out bulletins for people to add Fanboys as a Friend. Would it not be sensible to at least make the page readable to the portion of people who use one of the more common browsers these days?

I'm done with my crusade now. If they choose to keep the page with that layout (or lack thereof), fine. They lost me as a visitor. Quite frankly, I think we'll know the latest news and tidbits before they do anyway. I've sent them some links and interviews before, even told them they can add some of our pictures if they give credit. They don't seem interested. Hmmm... Sorry for trying to be helpful. <shrug>
