Just Friends is cheap now. I already have it lol. I really want to get volume four of Family Guy. I have all of the Family Guy dvd's except that one.

I just bought live free or die hard. It's pretty good. Plus Justin Long = amazing!

I only had time to watch one film today and I watched Click.
I thought it was good. Much different than the trailer led me to believe. While it does have comedic moments it's much more like a mix between It's a Wonderful Life and a Twilight Zone episode. I don't really like Adam Sandler films that much but I thought he did good in this one.

Of those recent ones you bought, Illinois, I know Just Friends (duh) and In Good Company. I actually liked the latter better, story-wise. Of course Chris was adorable in Just Friends, but the movie itself didn't quite knock my socks off. Not my kind of movie. While In Good Company wasn't exactly a masterpiece either, it was still good fun. Hope you enjoy your latest purchases. (How many shelves do you have for all your DVDs??)

I use book cases.
1 is two dvd deep and 4 shelves. Another bookcase is another 4 shelves but only 1 dvd deep. A small bookcase for the TV series and other genres. And a real small bookcase for the Snappers from Warner Bros.
So in total 13 shelves.

Oh wow. Does your apartment or house have any other furniture than shelves? My collection really pales in comparison. I have two rows in my book shelf of movie DVDs and half a row with TV series box sets. I really only buy what I like a lot. Same with audio CDs, though I have a lot more CDs than I have DVDs.

How many dvd's do you have IllinoisGuy??
Offline
You've asked a difficult question.
DVD Profiler counts 870. But that does include the box case for sets and sometimes individual discs as well in tv series.
So there are several ways to count.
1. How many packages?
2. How many actual DVDs not including the packaging?
3. How many movies and tv series? Sometime a DVD can hold 2 movies, one on each side and a tv series would be counted as just one.
It'll take some time to actually do a physical count.:o

I just counted the packages. 779 total packages/cases.

Wow. Crazy!! I have only close to half that many. You must love movies!!!

Been into DVDs since 1997 when they first came out.
I'm broke right now, so I have to wait to Friday to buy any DVDs. But since I bought so many last week it won't be that much this week.

Watched Just Friends yesterday.
It's an ok film, has some funny moments in it.
Some of my favorite scenes has Chris in them.
One where he tazers that lady and she falls over the railing. Another one is where his brother gives him a wedgie and he screams "My balls!" in a high pitched voice.
He's also funny in the special features where he introduces a few of the behind the scenes segments. Liked the one where he spins off the screen.

Oh yeah, Chris had some great moments in that movie. The one I like most from the special features is when he talks about feeling like a Ken doll.
My favorite scene from the movie itself is the messy massage. "Oopsies, I'm naked."

"Raise your hand if your brother's a ho-mo!"
"Cat fight!"
"Dude, The Notebook is soooo gay."
"Chris, leeetle problem."
Girly screams.
That little skip to the car.
The slap fights.
And how cute is he when he gapes?
He's hilarious in this movie! Can't even count how many times I've seen it.

Got back from Best Buy and picked up 3 of these;
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp … id=1757939
It's the Fantastic 4 Silver Surfer figurine. It also comes with a DVD that contains a Digital Comic.
All I paid was 1 cent for it. I picked up 3 of them. They retail for $14.99 each.
Not a bad gift idea.
