Today I bought a new Amber Tamblyn movie. I haven't had the chance to watch it yet and its called Normal Adolescent Behavior. Has anyone here seen it??

I saw it on lifetime, but accourding to Amber they totally basteredized it and ripped it to shreds. So I can't give a good review on it. But even ripped to shreds, it was still good.

I didn't know that. It has to be at a least a little enjoyable if Amber is in it though.

It was good on Lifetime, and Amber said the network cut it down a lot and totally took out a pivitol plot. So I guess technically I didn't see it. Amber seems to think it's a great movie though.

So you liked it? I was thinking about getting the DVD, but after what Amber said about the movie I wasn't so sure anymore. I'd love to see it though. But I am not going to buy a DVD from abroad if the best part has been cut out of it. (Does that sound familiar? )

The DVD doesn't have scenes cut, as far as I know. The movie aired on a TV station called Lifetime in the US over the summer, I watched it then and Amber said they shredded it to bits for time restrants and so it would be sutiable for television, meaning they may have cut out swearing, sex scenes, etc. Lifetime's usually pretty good about the sex and swearing, as long as it's not the f-bomb or graphic sex so they must have had timing issues.

Yeah, that's basically what Amber said. So I am not going to get the DVD (yet). Maybe I'll wait if they are going to release another one with extra stuff. You can never know. I'd really like to see the movie.

Amber (and everyone else's) indictment of the film is far more serious than you guys are letting on. Everyone involved in the making of the film hates what it has become but can't legally speak out about it according to Kristen's blog on Amber's MySpace page. The DVD is better, but Kristen says no one will ever get to see the movie they shot. And to that end, they're offering a download of the original script:

I'm gonna read it. And then I'll probably rent the DVD.

Thanks for posting the link Deb! I would like to read the script. I have the unrated dvd so the scenes they cut out on Lifetime are on it.

I already downloaded that a long time ago.

Uhm ... I don't know actually. I guess I just forget about that. We weren't talking about Amber this much when I read about that on the Rebel forum.

Pirates: AWE is much better than DMC. Less goofiness as in DMC. The storyline is much better and ties up everything very well. The final battle is terrific. Of course they left it wide open for a sequel with the map and the next thing that they could be in search of.

I'm gonna watch The Golden Compass later today. Looking forward to it!

Got these this morning.
Got them from Walmart. Price matched it for $12.99 from Circuit City and then used a $3.00 off coupon for it, so got it for $9.98. MacGyver was $20.
Planning on getting this next week.

Did you guys watch the little scene at the end of the credits? It shows something kinda cool.

No I didn't. It was late and I was tired. I'll get around to it later though when I get to watch the extras as well.

It ties up a little 'loose end'. I'm curious if they will be making more in the future.
