Got this today. Also got 4 of the Simpsons movie actions figures for $15 extra from Best Buy.

The action figures go for $15 each. I got all 4 of the Simpsons family at the movie theater. They all have sound as well.

I liked it. It has some funny moments. It's weird at first to see it in Widescreen, but they use the wide ratio very well.

May contain spoilers::

Some of my favorite moments are when the birds crash into the dome and all the cats are at the bottom waiting. The destruction of the Simpson's home is pretty cool. Lisa hitting Bart when he makes fun of her having a boyfriend. When the animals come in to the cabin and help remove Homer's and Marge's clothes and the birds are having a hard time getting off his clothes. When that boy hits the 3 bully's.

It does slow down a bit when they are in Alaska. It picks back up when Homer goes back to save Springfield.

Probably worth a rental first if you aren't a die hard Simpsons fan. But as a blind buy I liked it a lot.

I know it's a little off topic, but, IllinoisGuy, are you okay? Heard on the news today that you had severe snow storms and lots of accidents in your area.

Yup, I'm ok. All we got around here was some light snow and high winds. Today and tomorrow will be near 40 degrees, which is very nice in my book..Basically there is no snow around here, according to the news there is about an inch or two of snow on the ground up North. Rest of the week is going to be in the mid 30's, which for this time of the year isn't bad at all.

Not really purchases, but I got these for Christmas, Veronica Mars (season 3), October Road (season 1) and Stephanie Daley. I finally get to watch the bonus features of SD because I had a brain fart when I rented it and sent it right back after I watched it once.
