I loved Legends Of The Fall. I've seen it ages ago. Should do that again, I think.
I hugged the Seeker!

Legends has been on cable constantly lately. I watched it again a couple of weeks ago. It's a wonderful movie. And I've always been a fan of Henry Thomas. I'll watch anything he's in.

Got this one today at a going out of business sale for $3.50. It will mean nothing to most of you, but I love it. It's the movie that made Hitchcock choose Tony Perkins to play Norman Bates in Psycho...

Those $1 Walmart DVDs from Digiview are fairly good quality for a buck. I have any of them. Mine hasn't had any good releases recently. Many things I've never heard of, TV movies, cartoons and Mexican language titles. I know many months ago they had the Abbot & Costello version of Jack and the Beanstalk, but I missed it - still looking for that one.

So how many DVDs do you have exactly, Illinoisguy1? Deb and everyone else said I should be asking you that when I asked Melody, haha.
Joan: "Wow. I always thought you'd hate me if I was a cheerleader."
Adam: "No way. Why?
Joan: "Because we're subdefectives and it'd be like deserting the army or something."
Adam: "Oh, no. I don't care if you're a cheerleader, subdefective, or whatever. I just like hanging out with you because.. you're Jane."

How many DVDs do I own?
Depends on how you count them.
Actual cases = 820
Now if you don't count the box for box sets of films and then count the movies included the total is 877. TV series I count as just 1 regardless of how many discs are enclosed.
I have yet to actually count how many actual discs themselves I own.

Got this dvd this morning from Best Buy. Used a $5 RZ certificate, so go it for just under $20.

Holy! How do you keep track of them all? Do you have a huge library rack?

I want the new Family Guy movie soo bad!! I love the show a lot! I have volumes 1-5 and Stewie Griffin's Untold Story.
Offline
I use DVD Profiler to keep track of all of them. I have over 2,000 titles in my wish-list. Cost $30, but well worth it.
I keep my dvds in regular bookcases. Right now 2 - 4 shelves bookcases are completely filed. I also have the top shelf of a third bookcase filled and a small bookcase filled and snappers are in one of those small media units.

Thats a lot of dvds, Illinoisguy.

I had to goto 3 different stores before I could find one that had Blue Harvest in stock. The Collector's Edition is definitely worth the extra $$.
Oh, and I got Bionicle 2 for Jacen.

Where did you buy your copy of the Family Guy Blue Harvest, Sean??

I went to Circuit City and Comp USA and they were sold out, but there's a regional entertainment store here in ABQ called Hastings that had it. Best Buy probably has it too, but it's really far from my part of town.
I watched the special features last night and there's a part of the show that they made in 3-D that you can watch with the enclosed glasses. There's also a funny interview with George Lucas on there. It's just a fun set altogether, I really enjoyed it.

I just got done reorganizing my dvd collection.
I put in all of recent purchases into the collection and alphabetized all of it.Keeping TV series separate.
It took me 3 hours to do it all.

Great tips, Sean. Thank-you!

Man, that's crazy- I'm in the same boat as you. All my new DVDs are laying in mixed stacks in one room, while all my organized ones are in two others.
I found an easter egg on the Family Guy DVD that is a teaser for the next Star Wars Special called, "Something, Something, Something, Darkside".
