Yeah, I noticed that too. They also had the Jan 18 date up on there until a week after Jan 18. I don't think they really care much about their site having current info. Besides, I don't believe they've made a decision yet about whether to keep the cancer storyline or not. Or if they have, we don't know about it.

Three studio plants posted on IMDb today that they saw the no-plot version last night and it was soooooo great. Yeah, right. I'm getting a chlorophyll high just reading this junk. Very vague, no details. Just it was great. We'll see if any actual, you know, truth gets posted.

So, I just read a Private Message I got on IMDb from a person who was confused about the talk about cancer.

Why did they take the scene out?

They thought it was just one scene that got taken out. First, I don't know how people can even think that cancer, even as a back story, could only be in ONE scene. Second, how many people are possibly this stupid to think that it's just one scene that's changed? God, I seriously hope not.

I hate that nobody on IMDb ever reads any posts before they ask goofy questions. I hate to keep beating a dead horse, but this person is probably in that 12-17 range who are the only ones allowed to see our movie and decide which version gets released.

One of the posters is a 17 YO girl. Another one sounds like a teenage girl too. But one of them is an obvious plant who's never posted on IMDb before today under that name.

Okay, I gotta post this. Someone whispered in our ears that Chris thinks the storyline changes don't affect his role. (And please don't post this anywhere else.) But... WFT??? They're totally REWRITING his role! Maybe it won't affect his overall performance in the movie. But it would still cripple who the character of Linus was meant to be. I'm stumped. And stunned. I really don't know what to think anymore.

And that's why it's so frustrating to watch the Weinstein Company fumble the ball so badly. It's clear they have no idea what to do with the movie, or how to market it. And honestly…it makes no sense. The film has a huge cast and it even has Seth Rogen playing around 4 characters in the film…including a die hard Star Trek fan. How hard would it be to market this? Not very.

Can't we write to this Shaunda or Shauna person at the Weinstein Co. who is mentioned in some AICN article as being responsible for this?
