Greg's dad? No way! I think I saw a version of one or the other that were extremely edited. I think there was nudity, but I don't remember much else about it. I also remember one with Angie Dickinson and William Shatner (the horror) that I'm sure neither of them brags about. I can't remember the title, but you can bet it's no longer on Shatner's resume. And it was still better than "The Bitch" or "The Stud". In my humble but accurate opinion!

The local Lidl store had "Freedom Writers" and "Just Like Heaven" for €7.99 each, so I had to buy them.

Got this one today from the Walmart dump bin.
The bad thing is that when I removed the security stickers it completely ruined the paper by removing large portions of it. Now the case looks like an ex-rental or something I bought at a garage sale or even found in the garbage.
Learned my lesson, never buying any movie that comes in a Snapper from the dump bin again.

Yeah, I hate it when that happens, Illinois. Oh well, at least when you put it in the shelf, you won't see the damage right away, right?

I hate that too, but as long as the DVD works, it's okay. I mean, it's jus the paper, it's not that bad.

Maybe I'm nitpicky, but I just don't like my collection to look crappy.
Later I'll probably buy it again, maybe when it comes in a keep case.
I also bought a Digiview $1 DVD called Rehearsal for Murder. It was a 1982 TV Movie with Lynn Redgrave, Jeff Goldblum and Robert Preston
Offline
I don't remember much about it, but I think I've seen that one. Lynn Redgrave is the victim and Preston spends the movie solving her murder. I think it was really good, if I remember correctly. There was also another good made-for-TV murder mystery from around the same time. I don't remember the title but it starred Blythe Danner, Swoozie Kurtz, and Anthony Hopkins. It's a good one, too.
Where did you pick up "Rehearsal for Murder", Illinoisguy1?

Joan: "Wow. I always thought you'd hate me if I was a cheerleader."
Adam: "No way. Why?
Joan: "Because we're subdefectives and it'd be like deserting the army or something."
Adam: "Oh, no. I don't care if you're a cheerleader, subdefective, or whatever. I just like hanging out with you because.. you're Jane."

Have you tried half.com? That's where I get my school textbooks pretty cheap and there's a neat DVD section as well! And you don't have to wait and compete with other buyers.
I would have gotten the movies separately, but I knew there was going to be a "circle of trust" collection thing, so I waited and waited and then waited for the price to come down and I finally got it. As I keep saying, as much as I may like something/someone, I am still a cheap butt.
I'm still waiting to get Saw IV.. I haven't seen the movie in general so I'm anticipating for the price to go down already.
That's cool, Melody; I actually like Fockers more ;x The baby did it for me! "Ass-holeeeeeeeeee" HAHAHAHAH!! And I actually haven't seen the movies you listed, except for Rumor Has It and Blades of Glory- Blades of Glory wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, I must say.

Amazing how kids get totally stuck on things. But then, everyone does to a degree. Kids just don't have a filter for it.
