Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

What's the first thing your ever saw Chris in?

It was probably Up,Up and Away when I was younger... It was on the other day and I couldn't beleve my eyes, he was the kid that made me want to try sticking tin foil in my mouth...anyway the first thing I noticed him in was The Girl Next Door I thought he was completely histarical

What's your favorite thing he's done so far?

I guess AlphaDog or The Invisible

What's your favorite scene in that movie/show?

AlphaDog: The entire last 20 minutes. I don't know how to describe it for anyone who hasn't scene it yet... He's just so great in the last moments you see him. It made me cry...the only part that made me cry
The Invisible: ANY scene with Chris.. I love the entire movie but he was just soooo amazing.

Who's your favorite Chris character and why?

Pete in The Invisisble

Do you remember the first time you Googled Chris?  What site did you land on?

I think it was sometime in December of 2006

What were you looking for when you found our website or how else did you stumble across it?

I was looking for some info on Fanboys and I found this and I was SOOO happy!

What role in what movie --- any movie --- past, present or potential would you love to see Chris play?

Maybe a Lloyd Dobler-ish character.  I would like to see him in a smart horror film like Scream

Seen any Chris movies in a theatre?

-- No, but when Fanboys comes out I'll be there the night it opens

Own any Chris movies?

-- AlphaDog, The Girl Next Door, and as of this weekend I should have few more. I'm going shopping,yo!

Have anything special recorded off TV?

I taped the Sceam Awards for 2007 and a bit of stuff on Comi-Con but I havn't watched them yet, so I dont know if there's anything with him there or not.

What do you like most about Chris?

--  WoW. Everything. I have a thing for lips and I think thats how I first noticed him... his eyes and his amazing capabilities as an actor

If you could ask Chris one question, what would you ask?

--  Anything that pops into my head at that moment

Do you have any of Chris's lines that you can quote off the top of your head?

I can quote basically the entire Trailer for Fanboys... THe one released on the Clerks 2 DVD... I don't know if they changed it since then because of the reshoots

Have you met Chris in person? If so, tell us about it.

-- Nope. But I really hope I get to

If you could have him autograph one item or photo, what would you pick and why?

--  my back and a picture of him. If he signed my back I would get it tatooed there. not just him though...anyone of my favorites

What would you want to see Chris doing next out of these?
a) a very dark and suspenseful thriller
b) a sitcom
c) a quirky and/or romantic comedy
d) a horror movie
e) a drama TV show
f) an action movie
g) a dramatic movie
h) a medical or cop show
i) a theater play
j) something else entirely (if so, what?)

h,i,g....I think it would be interesting to see him play a cop in a comedy, I like the stage and I love the intesity of his eyes in a dramatic scene

When I found out his last name I freaked. That's the name of a city in Michigan, where I live, That I have so many memories of. Even his name brings joy to me!

So glad you de-lurked!  Thanks for posting and answering the questionnaire.  smile

Have you seen Joan Of Arcadia?  You didn't mention it and since we all love it so much around here, I always have to ask when a new member doesn't mention it.

And what can we call you?

Awesome.  I think you're gonna love it.  Funny Chris and dramatic Chris all rolled into one of the most unique TV characters ever.  And incredibly cute.

Hey J-Lee, welcome to the board! I think I can answer this. As far as we know, there's only the original trailer out there, the one that was also on the Clerks II DVD. There was no reason to change it yet, even with them considering to remove the cancer storyline because the trailer doesn't mention anything about cancer at all. I guess they're gonna make a new trailer, once they have decided which version to release, but I wouldn't count on it. I don't trust the Weinstein Company as far as I can throw them (and that's not a whole lot).

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

I was thinking about this last night.  They've always had that same trailer, right?  And it never mentioned cancer.  Remember how I asked Kyle about why there wasn't a more dramatic trailer on the panel at FX?  He didn't have much of an answer, except something about comedy being easier to sell.  Maybe they were always thinking of removing the cancer storyline...?  sad

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

Yeah, I voiced that same thought a while ago somewhere. It was actually right here on the MB in the Fanboys thread:

TeeJay wrote:

Guys, you know what? In the first and only trailer we have so far, never once is the fact shown/mentioned that Linus is sick or that they take the trip so that he can see the movie before he dies. Makes you wonder, doesn't it? Is that just a coincidence? Or were they already plotting all this way back then?

http://www.chris-marquette.com/forum/vi … 596#p22596

Great minds... smile

And your answer posted was shockingly similar to what you just said:

Sisterdebmac wrote:

I asked Kyle about that on the panel at FX, remember?  He said that the Weinsteins always wanted a "comedy" trailer.  They always thought the comedic aspect would sell better than the emotional side of the story.  So yeah, Fat Bastard probably was planning on raping Linus's journey all along.

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

I realized today that I never filled this out. Oops.

What's the first thing your ever saw Chris in?
Actually it was 7th Heaven, although I never really truly noticed him until Joan of Arcadia.

What's your favorite thing he's done so far?
Joan of Arcadia, although I haven't seen everything that he's been in otherwise. Just Friends was really good as well.

What's your favorite scene in that movie/show?
I have to pick just one? Wow. Well, he was amazing throughout Jump, especially the scene where Helen reads his mother's letter to him.

Who's your favorite Chris character and why?
Adam. Because before his out of character experience he wasn't just another teenage boy character. He had depth, he was sweet, and he always made me swoon over him.

Do you remember the first time you Googled Chris?  What site did you land on?
His IMDB, I think.

What were you looking for when you found our website or how else did you stumble across it?
I think I was looking for Joan of Arcadia screencaps. I lurked for a while until TJ convinced me to sign up.

What role in what movie --- any movie --- past, present or potential would you love to see Chris play?
Nothing really comes to mind. I would like to see Day the Dead Weren't Dead if it were ever to become a movie. I'm not holding out hope for it, but the "trailer" was funny.

Seen any Chris movies in a theatre?
Just one, The Invisible.

Own any Chris movies?
I would like to own Just Friends. Right now I only have the Joan of Arcadia DVDs.

Have anything special recorded off TV?
No, sadly.

What do you like most about Chris?
His amazing acting ability. His appearance sure doesn't hurt though (I can't name just one feature).

If you could ask Chris one question, what would you ask?

Do you have any of Chris's lines that you can quote off the top of your head?
"Fo shizzle my nizzle"
"I don't like perky, this you know."
"You said detain!"
"I tried yo, it didn't stick."

Have you met Chris in person? If so, tell us about it.
No, I haven't.

If you could have him autograph one item or photo, what would you pick and why?
Joan of Arcadia Season 2. It showed really wonderful acting on his part.

What would you want to see Chris doing next out of these?
a) a very dark and suspenseful thriller
b) a sitcom
c) a quirky and/or romantic comedy
d) a horror movie
e) a drama TV show
f) an action movie
g) a dramatic movie
h) a medical or cop show
i) a theater play
j) something else entirely (if so, what?)

f, just because I've never seen him in an action movie or d, one in which the other actors can act as well.

Re: Our little questionnaire ::: Come on in and answer it

What's the first thing your ever saw Chris in?

Probably Freddy vs Jason. I wasn't aware of who Chris was, but his character was always one of the characters i remembered from the film.

What's your favorite thing he's done so far?

Well, i absoulatly love The Girl Next Door, so i would probably say that.

What's your favorite scene in that movie/show?

oooooo, so many to choose from. hmm I would have to say... when showing Matthew the porn video. Gosh, i was going crazy just to think of one scene.

Who's your favorite Chris character and why?

Eli. Notice any pattern?

Do you remember the first time you Googled Chris?  What site did you land on?

That would have to be imdb, followed by this site.

What were you looking for when you found our website or how else did you stumble across it?

If i remember correctly, i was searching for pictures of Chris, and i stumbled across this site.

What role in what movie --- any movie --- past, present or potential would you love to see Chris play?

hmmm, Lets think. I think it would be kind of cool to see Chris in an action film. Similar to like the Bond films. Hey, what about Chris as James Bond? lol

Seen any Chris movies in a theatre?

Unfortunatly, i havn't. Fanboys is a big possibility for the future though.

Own any Chris movies?

Yep. Freddy vs Jason, The Girl Next Door, Just Friends. I'm going to catch Alpha Dog when it's on tv next, and if i like it, then that would be another i'll add to my collection.

Have anything special recorded off TV?

Not anymore. Used to have a few Joan of Arcadia episodes recorded.

What do you like most about Chris?

hmm, i like the fact that he can portray such a variety of characters. It's weird seeing him as Mike Brander, because he is so different to say Eli. And he's just so funny.

If you could ask Chris one question, what would you ask?

What a hard question. Apart from trying to persuade him to get me a part in one of his films lol, i would ask him, if he has any of his own films on dvd?

Do you have any of Chris's lines that you can quote off the top of your head?

Wow. I know loads, but i'll just say a few of my favourites;

"Dude, don't look at me. Even if you pay for it, it still counts."
"Matt, she's a porn star! Okay? Take her to a motel room and bang her like a beast!"
"Actually, no, Mrs. Kidman, they're porn stars."
"I could make a better sex-ed film with my mom!"
"Learn to like it."
"Raise your hand if your brother's a homo!"

Have you met Chris in person? If so, tell us about it.

I wish.

If you could have him autograph one item or photo, what would you pick and why?

I would get a glossy photo of one of his characters. Add it to my wall of autographs. :dancing:

What would you want to see Chris doing next out of these?

I think i would still like to see him do any action film next.

You're gonna get your wish with this one next year when Infestation is released.  He's the hero of this sci-fi action comedy.  He's gonna kick some giant space bug ass!
