It's great. It's about Chris shooting at Skywalker Ranch. Cute stuff. He was really in awe.

Page 3 recounts how KEVIN SPACEY called Lucas to ask for permission to make the movie at TriggerStreet. So once again, folks let us reiterate, Spacey is repsonsible for making this movie. NOT Harvey Scissorhands Weinstein. Fat Bastard is only responsible for buying it so he could edit it to death. :fedup:

Don't think we have it in the gallery because it's someone's private pic and I'd rather like to ask permission before we repost it. I don't think I published any of the private pics we found that were taken at SDCC. You wanna go ahead and ask if we can repost those pics with Chris? I'm with you too! And I sent the e-mail to weinstein from both my email addresses! It probably won't help at all but at least i tried. I wouldn't even want to watch this movie without the cancer plot. Without the boys doing something nice for their dying friend and forfilling his last wish, they're just a bunch of losers who are obsessed with Star Wars. Why would anyone wana watch that if there wasn't a good reason behind it.
Its such a shame for Christopher Marquette (Linus) and his fans because he is such an amazing actor (one of the best i've ever seen, he's sooo good at every role he does, comedy, tragedy, angst, drama) and playing a cancer victim would be perfect for him! Thats why i wanted to see the film in the first place.

Someone on IMDb asked if there was any truth to the rumor that Fanboys was gonna play at the Just For Laughs comedy festival in Montreal (July 10 - 20, 2008). I have no idea. But why would they be taking the movie to a festival? That doesn't really make sense. Unless they wanna gauge the reactions of a more general audience before they decide on a wide theatrical release.

Someone said on IMDb that they heard the movie was gonna screen at the Just For Laughs festival in Montreal in July, and if that was true? Another poster just replied this:

Working for Just For Laughs Festival, I would say that this is still on schedule. This is not final though.

I wonder what the Weinsteins are trying to do, showing the movie at a festival now... ??? Also, I asked Kyle if he knew anything about it and he said he didn't but that he would investigate. Haven't heard back from him yet.

Either in theaters or on DVD the film will be released this year. It first goes to Cannes at the end of May and then should be released after that. Working on the film and enjoying a lot. It goes to Cannes?? Why????? I don't get it what they're trying to do. When I was still crazy about the movie, I might have considered actually going to France for it, but not anymore. Also, this sounds like definite confirmation that it's gonna be the recut version that'll be shown. Yeah, like we didn't know it already. (Mark Mothersbaugh is the composer for Fanboys, btw.) I think Cannes happens end of May.
