the final original cancer plot edit is done, and will be shown at San Diego Comic Con, possibly a week earlier at Celebration Japan, and then worldwide sometime this fall, as a theatrical release.
my source? None other than the man Kyle Newman himself. Ernie confirmed yesterday on his blog it will be by year's end.

Yay, that's great news! Wow! Didn't think I'd ever see the day. SDCC is July 24 - 27 this year. Hope to hear some more reviews. Wish I could be there. Guess it'll have to be the German theatrical release hopefully early 2009 for me.
Guess we'll have to give Kyle a shout ourselves.

Whoohoo! That's awesome, Brenna. It's unlikely that Chris is gonna be there, he'll mostly likely be shooting Kid Cannabis. But I think there's a good chance Kyle and some of the other people of the creative team are gonna show up, maybe even some of the other actors. Make sure to give Kyle a hug from us at the very least. And let us know what you thought about the "new" cut. (And steal us a copy!)
