Re: The Invisible

I found a German release date on a website, it says June 21, 2007. Not too bad, is it? Let's hope it's correct, but at least it's a Thursday, so it doesn't sound too fake. Chris on the big screen!!! In Germany!!! Yay! <bounce bounce bounce>

Source: http://www.zelluloid.de/filme/index.php3?id=5556

And thanks for posting the news, Anne. I added the release dates to them.

Re: The Invisible

Okay, that means our birthday present arrives five months late in Germany. But we can live with that, right, Tina? big_smile

Re: The Invisible

I updated the screencaps we had with better ones I made from a QuickTime clip that I downloaded today. Go check the other post with the original caps that I posed a couple of days ago, they're all there.

Re: The Invisible

I just checked a Justin Chatwin fansite (http://www.justinchatwinfan.com) because I thought maybe they had stuff from The Invisible that has Chris in it. They don't. But I looked at their TI thread in their forum. And, girls, I'm so glad our discussions (while some of them aren't exactly constructive) are so much more substantial. Have a look: http://www.justinchatwinfan.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=5

There is no information whatsoever in that. Only shallow teeange drooling and even some language. "He's so hot!" "He's mine." "That bitch should not kiss him." That kind of thing. Geez, how glad am I it's not like that over here. Well, Chris is hot, no doubt, but we don't have tons of threads saying only that. Fortunately.

Just needed to say that. And now I hope we'll get some more pictures from the movie. Because... Chris said he's "in it a bunch". Can't wait!

Re: The Invisible

I read on a Swiss movie website that Swiss big screen release is March 1, 2007. That would be so cool! Because then I could take a weekend trip to visit Steff in Basel and watch the movie if they're showing it there. (Unless that date is a fluke.) And I know that in Basel they show movies without dubbing. There will be French *and* German subtitles, though. But I can live with that. You learn not to look at them if you try.

That's only two months after US release. Wow. That would be so awesome. But somehow I still can't believe they'd show it in Switzerland almost four months before the German release date...

Re: The Invisible

Wow, that'd be cool.
If a train ticket to Basel woudn't be that expensive I'd totally go there and watch it. LOL

Re: The Invisible

Well, if it's real, maybe I can take the car and we can take a trip to Basel together. Or something. Let's talk about that when we know more. I can't believe I'm jetting around Europe to watch Chris's movies as early as I can. I must be mad. No, wait, just infatuated and dedicated. smile

Re: The Invisible

That'd be cool. I would pay you some money for gas. But yeah, we can talk about that when we know for sure that it's coming out on that date.
I really need to find out where they might show movies without dubbing in Stuttgart.

Re: The Invisible

One of the writers of The Invisible just answered my question on IMDb about the name of Chris's character in the movie.  He's called Pete.

Re: The Invisible

Thanks for the info.
I just broke my own rule. LOL. Well, I just said that I'm also German and I hate dubbings too. Which, you know, it true, even if my English is still not perfect. I just watched two Numb3rs episodes in a row. Didn't understand that much, but that's ok. I mean, Numb3rs is not GW. Thank God, LOL.

Re: The Invisible

Ah, very cool. Thanks. I'll add that to our filmography and synopsis. I take it he didn't say anything else interesting, did he?

How did you break your own rule, Anne? By watching Numb3rs in English without having seen the German version first? Or by watchin two episodes in a row instead of one at a time? And why do you need rules for that? I watch stuff whenever I want/have time/feel like it. Otherwise I would *never* get all my stuff watched. I mean, I'm not succeeding as it is...

I once said I would never post at imdb.com again, which I did yesterday. I thought I wrote that too. But I changed my post afterwards, maybe I deleted the part by mistake, sorry.

Re: The Invisible

It absolutely SUCKS that this movie doesn't have a website.  Only that crappy myspace page.  Blech!

If we hadn't made Chris caps from the trailer, there'd be no Chris pics anywhere.
