I have that version of the "Meet The Parents" DVD, Anne. It's awesome and you should buy it. I got it at a garage sale last Saturday for really cheap.

Just watched 10,000 B.C. & I enjoyed it. Sure it's historically inaccurate, but I didn't watch it for historical information. I watched it to be entertained. And as a whole I was.

While the previews made it to look like a movie about a tribe battling Mammoths & Sabertooth Tigers it's not. In fact the tiger is only in the film for 2 scenes. The film is more about the tribe going to get their women/children back from the so called "Gods" and they form a small army to help them in doing so. I will say that it does seem like a movie I've seen before or at least that aspect seems familar.

The FX were well done and the cinematography is also very good. Some really beautiful scenic shots.

I will say it's at least worth a rental.

I also remember that Ridley Scott wanted Geena Davis to take her shirt off and stand up in the car when the first hit the road. She was panicking but Susan Sarandon just looked at him like a kindergarten teacher and said, "Ridley! Geena's not gonna take off her shirt." And that was the end of it.:lol:

Susan Sarandon rocks! I'm reading Whitley Strieber's The Last Vampire right now. It's a sequel to The Hunger, and Sarandon's character, Sarah is in this book too. So far, it's very cool.

Noooooooooooooooooooo. She's the main character. Miriam still adores her Sarah. And Dr. Sarah's still trying to figure out how to devamp herself, but she loves Miriam too. This book is way bigger than The Hunger. Miriam's being chased by the CIA vamp slayer squad and she desperately wants to reproduce. It's crazy so far!
