Well, Steph just hit the road. She's gonna stop by and see her brother for a little while. He lives here in north Metro ATL. Then, she'll she be heading back to Kentucky. We had way too much fun. Stayed up way too late, giggled way too much, ate way too much. It was a blast. Sorry, no pictures. We were too busy to even think about it.

I wanted to take some photos of the Porta Nigra when we were in the city, but I didn't have enough time. That sucks, I never took any photos of that while I was living there. Well, next time.

I just wanted to post here and say I'm going to be gone for almost 2 days on vacation and won't be online. I'm going to Atlanta with my mom and relatives. I'll miss everyone and I promise to post about my trip when I get back on Wednesday night.

I'm back and exhausted. I got burned at the waterpark. I went shopping as well and to the aquarium and coca-cola museum.

That would be cool to meet you, Deb. We would have soo much to talk about and soo much in common. Having Chris Marquette as our favorite actor is something we could talk about and not get tired of doing. :- )

I've been to the Coke museum with Deb last year. While it was interesting, I still think it was a little overpriced. And it's more for kids than for grown-ups. I've been to the aquarium in 2006, and I quite liked it. Did you have a good time, Mel?

The old Coke Museum was a little less kiddie. But I really like the new one too. It's much more sparkly and interactive.

Yes, there is. You see, Coke was invented in Atlanta. So we have a museum to celebrate the history of the drink that has become probably the most famous brand name on the planet. It's actually pretty cool. They call Atlanta, Coke City...

The price to get in is high and should be lowered. I had a great time though especially with sampling most of the sodas and watching coke commericials.

Yeah, I loved the soda sampling too. But after you've had about ten different ones, you just get the urge to devour something greasy and salty, don't you? And some of them are truly disgusting. Some of the commercials were cool, especially the ones from the 70's or 80's.

Did you know that coca-cola was invented by a guy that did the drug coke and used it in the soda? That's the history of how it got it's name.

I'm not gonna be online much the next three days. Mon and Tue I will be on a business trip to London for a meeting and I'll be spending pretty much all of Wednesday with my best friend and her husband who are coming over from the UK. I'll surely try to drop in, but it's not gonna be for long stretches of time.
