You didn't mention Graduation, Tish. Do you have that one? I'm kind of obsessed with that movie. Well, with Carl anyway.

Ohhh yeah. I knew i was forgetting one. At Blockbuster we got the movies before they came out, a month to two months before we had to shelf them and you get to rent the pre movies. I about screamed when I was unpacking that box. I rented it every week until it was supposed to come out and then bought it at the end of my shift on that Tuesday. I've always had a soft spot for that movie, I love the Chris in that one, and hello...IGGY TATTOO!!!!

Yeah, I know what you mean. I was in the video business for 14 years. Screeners rule! So, um, did you read my Carl/Suzy smut?

I should go comment on that huh....And read it again...MAWHAHA!
I LOVED the screeners, we always got the free passes and ohhhh yeahhhh it made me feel all cool and stuff lol.
Offline
Oh yeah, free passes too. And sometime really funny merchandising to go along with the movies. And I don't just mean t-shirts, soundtracks and ball caps.
Oh, and uh, I'm working on more Carl fic...

mmmmm Carl fic....mmmmmmm.
I loved the random merch you'd get. I got one of those pens once that when you shake it the top makes that weird....Puking noise? That's what it's already reminded me of, anyways it had NOTHING to do with the movie...other than that it had the movie name on it...Strangest thing I'd ever gotten lol. We got the cool stuff too, CDs and whatever...I always liked the little funny things though that you knew they only had a few buck left in the budget and went with those...Freggin sweeeet dude.

I'm in the promotional marketing business now. We make the premiums that those companies give away. Fun stuff.

Oh, yeah. I don't know why, but they don't pronounce it PRES SCOTT. They pronounce it PRES cut. I think it's a nice place.
Offline
Yes, I'm from Prescott/Chino...Well that's where I live right now anyways lol.
I grew up in Deer Valley though, northrn Phx. Two of my best friends live right out of Scottsdale, and work there too...At the Princess Hotel....Damn rich people.

I think that since I moved back to Texas all those towns on the outskirts of Phoenix have really grown. I've kicked myself for not buying a couple of lots out in the Gilbert or Chandler areas.
I think your part of the state is prettier. Metro Phoenix is getting too big I think.
Offline
Everything is getting too big.
I moved to Detroit for awhile, I mean I wasn't even gone a year and when I moved back SO many new places had come up. Houses (which is stupid because of how everything is going right now) resturants, office space, it just isn't stopping. The area I grew up in as a kid looks NOTHING like it did just a few years ago.
My aunt says the same about up here though, when she was 18 she had the chance to buy a couple of acers for like $200 bucks or something but she passed on it....Because she was a stupid drunk and stoned teenager living it up in the 80's and now if she had done that mmmaaaannnn she would have bank...Or some nice land in the pretty mountains. Dang fool.
We're working on getting a place ourselves down in the Valley and let me tell ya...It's a pain in the butt right now. We've got the offer there but the loan has to go through and blah blah blah. HATE IT.
Offline
Wow! Good luck on your loan! Are you about to get married or something?
I feel for your aunt. Even ten years ago, when I lived in the valley, there were good deals on real estate. Now with all the growth some people made themselves some money. Mmmaaaannnnn!;):D;)
Offline
No, not getting married, not really. My 'boyfriend' and I, and a few other friends are getting a place together. We have a very complicated relationship. LoL, it's a long story.
Real estate here has gone down so much, a friend of mine and her husband just bought a 5 bed room house on an acre and half of land for only 150,000 which is how much we're putting down on just a three bed room with a pool. The people they had bought from just wanted to get rid of the house and they had the place on the market for over 2 years.
It's just bad bad bad.

Have you seen Chris in "Remember The Daze", Tish? He is soo funny in it.
Offline
Cool.
I own all of Chris's movies and shows as well except I haven't taped "Up, Up, And Away" and I don't have any of the shows that he's guest-starred in. : (
Offline
When I worked at BlockBuster I was able to get a lot of them, and just the single DVD that his eppy was on, instead of having to buy the whole season. It was pretty bomb.
Offline
Your really lucky then. I'm jealous. : )

uh yeah hahah I landed here.
What were you looking for when you found our website or how else did you stumble across it?

Plenty:

Have you met Chris in person? If so, tell us about it.

Welcome to the board, Trishie! Glad you answered our questionnaire, interesting answers. We once asked Chris what kind of music he's into (which was in Jan '07), and he said that at that time he was into electronic music without vocals. And TV On The Radio. Of course that could have (and probably has) changed by now.

I think it's safe to say that he actually is, having been blessed enough to be able to get to know him just a little better than most of our members. He's really quite an amazing guy. I'm sure he has his flaws too (can't wait to find out -- LOL), but if only half of what his mom says about him is true, he's a real sweetheart and a wonderful son.
