No, I haven't watched it yet. Shawn reminded me that we were supposed to see it with Whinnie... she was gonna buy it on the way home the night she died. So I haven't really been able to bring myself to watch it yet

Finally watched FSM because I didn't have anything better to do. I saw more of Jason Segel than I ever wanted to see but it was good overall.

 Yeah, I heard he was nekkid for a long time.

It was only two scenes, at the very beginning and the very end. It was just so random. I felt like I was watching Just Friends at one point and he was just gonna be like "Oops, I'm naked".

I saw Jason Segal when he was promoting the movie. He said that that had happened to him. An old girlfriend broke up with him while he was naked. Talk about getting someone when they're vulnerable. It's great that he can laugh about it now. Or at least cry all the way to the bank.

This is so exciting for me. I read someplace while in LA that there was finally a DVD for the '81 cult classic Diane Lane movie, Ladies & Gentlemen: The Fabulous Stains. I was shocked to see that she even did a commentary on it along with Laura Dern. She's spent most of her career saying unflattering things about the movie. Of course, I really had to pick it up on our only shopping jaunt. I haven't seen it in many, many years, but I must've watched it at least 5 times back in the day. It's a proto-punk rock drama. Lots of great people in it.
It's such a neat synchronicity that Rick also made a CD for me with the Jim Steinman songs from Streets Of Fire and gave it to me when we met him last Thursday. God, I love those songs! They're either monuments to gross excess, or masterpieces. I can't tell which, but I really don't care.

I think you'll really like Alpha Dog, Maria. Chris is amazing in it! What other movies of his do you have? Do you have JOA or Strong Medicine on DVD?

I don't own any other Chris movies yet. Last few years the kids have been so rough on our dvd collection I haven't buyd a lot of new ones. Just borrowed other people's dvds. Now it seems I've finally found a good hiding place for my dvds.
I have seen Alpha dog before. I know it's good. I just want to see it again real bad.

Someday maybe I'll be able to stop watching Alpha Dog every time it comes on TV.

Short time before our trip I found the German Alpha Dog DVD for just five bucks (Euro) at some kind of garage sale, so I bought it, although I didn't really need it. Well, I bought it anyway. LOL I won't watch it on TV though, because of course it will be dubbed and I prefer the original version.

You need to watch Chris in JOA and The Tic Code, Maria. I know you'd love them!

I watched JoA on youtube. DVD boxes are so damn expensive. I'm waiting to find them in sales. I'm looking for Tic code everywhere. So if you see one in some webstore, please inform me.
Oh, by the way.. I found Early Edition in youtube too. It's in this form EE 1.01 Pilot 1/5. Just incase someone else here is a fan. There's another DVD boxset I'm looking for in sales...

Both Amazon and Ebay sell The Tic Code. I'm pretty sure they have it in the region and format your DVD player requires.

Very good special features on the Crystal Skull dvd. Disc 2 is the disc with the wealth of extras.
Well over 2 hours worth of features on disc 2. The featurettes covers varied aspects of the making of the film. From the cast to special effects, sound effects to makeup. Also includes photo galleries and trailers.
Disc 1 only has 2 featurettes. So if you really want the extras, get the 2 disc edition.
