I ordered the actual book last night. big_smile

That's awesome, Maria! Be sure to tell me what you think of the book when you start reading it.

I wish I had more time to read. I have at least ten books at home I still wanna read. Twilight is one of them.

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

I need to re-order the whole series.  I lent the first three books to Whinnie, now her mom's reading them and I told her she could keep them and that I'd give her the fourth book too.   Not that I have the time or desire to read them again anytime soon, but I'm gonna get the complete series collector's edition thing when I want to.

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

I'm soooo tired. I could hit my self. What sane person stayes up until 4 am reading a book when she has to wake up 7 am? And all this while this person has a bad case of flu and she's in need of rest. Ooh, I can feel the consequences of my actions. Yesterday my throat was better and on the evening I hardly felt like sick anymore. Now my throat is killing me again. JTT woke up to bathroom when it was 3.30 am and said I was an idiot. Wondered if I thoughted I could actually get up in the morning after that. He's never read a book willingly so he doesn't get the attraction.

Yeah, I admite it wasn't the smartest thing I've done for a while but I refuse to regret. It's so darn good that book. I just couldn't put it down until I got so tired I couldn't read anymore. lol And I left it in such good part I just have to pick where I left it right now. So chapter 14 it is... big_smile

People have been known to stay up for a week, doing nothing but reading the books.  I should have warned you about that :embarrassed:

Understatement of the year.. lol I just finnished the book last night when it was about time to put the kids to bed. You'll never guess why I'm a bit edgy about the ending of this particular copy of the book... Can't wait 'till friday that I can order in the next one in the series...

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

What the hell... I tried watching the trailer on various webpages but keep getting the same problem. There's no voice at all and the video it self goes like 2 seconds and stops even when it's fully loaded. What is the problem here and how to fix it? It's not my headphones. I can listen to music with Windows media player as normal.

So weird. this computer has worked better for few days now and all the sudden this. Everything else works perfectly too. just the damn trailers don't. And I so wanted to see a climbse of the movie now that I've finished the book...

It's hard to say why it's not working without knowing more, Maria. What format is the file you're trying to play, what software did you try playing it with?

All of the new trailers seem to be glitchy, no matter where you watch them.  Try watching it on Stephenie Meyer's website, that's the only place I could watch it.

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

Are you having the problem with any other vids?

I had an issue with vids where there would be no sound, they would play for two seconds and stop. It's very common and I know how to fix it if, in fact, it's happening to you with other vids.

Wow, Have you guys already seen the Twilight videos on MTV?

Here's one complete scene:

Then there's 8 more vids. Interviews and behind the scene's stories. I really liked the vid 5/9. big_smile

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

Am I the only one who caught this moment in the theatrical trailer...
promSNEAKER.jpg

Bella's wearing sneakers!  Well... one sneaker.  But still.  Where was Alice when the wardrobe people dressed her?

Or someone who read the book more recently than I did, did Alice let Bella get away with wearing a sneaker?  I honestly don't remember.
