Well i might as well have a go at this thread.
Bought these this week. Mamma Mia being the biggest selling DVD in the UK, so i just added to that , and Spider-Man 3 was £4.99 new off Amazon, which i thought wasn't bad.

I really want to see Mamma Mia. When you see it tell me if you like it, Simon.

I've already seen it 3 times. Loved it since my first viewing of it. It's just one of those feel good movies, that cheers you up no matter what.

My thoughts exactly. I even went to see in a theater, and went alone because everyone I know thought it would ruin their image.

I went to the theater with my family, and me and my brother must have been the youngest in there. Everyone else other than my family must have been over 50.
Knowing the area i live in, i probably would get beaten for liking a musical. No jokes. Thank god, i only have a few friends in the area.

I'm going to buy the Mamma Mia DVD soon. I loved that movie.

What would you rank it as on a scale of 1-10, Simon?
Offline
Hmmmm Me personally, i would give it a 7 or maybe even an 8 out of 10. It's not perfect but it's the most fun i've had watching a movie this year. I guess it all depends on the individual watching and their tastes.
Plus, Amanda Seyfried is an added bonus.

Bought The Dark Knight from Target today.
FYI: It actually has 3 discs. 2 Inside the case, the other inside a paper sleeve.
Here is a pic of the Blu-Ray version, the regular dvd case is the same. Except it doesn't have the Blu-Ray logo of course.

Bought all of these today. Little Christmas shopping for myself.
from Target, same thing as this one.
Went to the closing sale at Circuit City.
Bought these. 40% off.

Bought this on Sunday at Best Buy.
According to Amazon.com the case version is now out of print. They are selling it without the Mach 5 metal case now.
I really only bought it for the case.

I "donated" another 35 Euro to amazon yesterday. It hasn't arrived yet but the last DVD I purchased is
<drumroll please>
The Graduate !!! I am longing to see the movie in English, so I thought it would make a nice Christmas present to myself. And because it's Christmas I bought the soundtrack, too. I grew up listening to Simon and Garfunkel, I love their music.

Bought two more today.
And to complete the 2-disc editions of the Star Trek movies.

I love the Graduate. I even wrote a paper about it in college.
Joan: So, my true nature is to be a catalyst? That is mad anti-climatic.
God: Anti climactic. Anti-climatic means you're against the weather.

I have trouble even looking at Star Trek dvd's without my brother insisting i was a Trekkie. I've never ever seen any of the films from start to finish.

Michael Welch is in Insurrection. Make sure to watch out for him, the little cutie pie. He was still very much a little kid when he did that one.

I remember seeing him when i saw some of the film on TV. Doesn't he have a horrible haircut in it or am i thinking of someone else?

I don't know. I don't remember his hair being horrible or anything. Who are you thinking of?

Just had to google him on images and yeah it was him i was thinking of. The haircut isn't as horrible as i remember it being, but in my opinion, it's still not particulary nice.

I love the original Gone In 60 Seconds. Saw it a bunch of times when I was a kid. And you're not gonna believe this but Jeremy Sumpter was in one of my dreams last night, but he was all grown up, like he really is now. I don't know why. I haven't thought about the guy in ages and I was never a big fan or anything. Weird!
