How many of Chris's movies have been pushed back now? Maybe they wait until they have 100 together and then release all at once. GRRRR.:mad:

A Chris marathon? Hey, wouldn't that be fun? Yeah, I'd totally go for it. Anne and I kinda had our little marathon when we met in person, didn't we?

Yes, we did. LOL
Now imagine if there would be a theater where they'd show all his movies one after the other. "Spend three days in a row in you cinema!" LOL I would definitely participate. LOL

Anne, I got confirmation of the "extreme spoiler" we talked about in email. I told him I like the idea because I love drama. He said he likes it too for the same reason.

There's a music video on YouTube:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZdL09BEmUjo
I had to watch it without sound so I don't klnow if the song's any good. It's got clips from the movie but Chris isn't in. Still pretty cool though. Gives you a good feel for the story.

Nice video. They should've put in some scenes with Chris, though.

They finally overhauled the myspace site. The soundtrack is gonna rock, definitely. I love it already! When can I buy it? There's more info there now. And there's a TV On The Radio song among the soundtrack songs! Whaah! And it's just as much not-music-but-noise as their other songs. But then, there's Snow Patrol and some other good stuff.
Ah, and we FINALLY have a proper movie website:

With more photos!
Isn't the first one of those perfect PETENEEDSAHUG! material? Awww!
And, OMG, they have HD QuickTime trailers now! I can make even better caps of Chris's two seconds in the trailer. (Click image for larger version!)

David S. Goyer (director) blogs on MySpace. Is there anything we wanna write to him? Ask if he has more material for us or if we can do anything to help promote the movie? I'm game. Ideas? Though he does say (see below) that legalities prohibit him from providing material. The least we can do is write to him to offer support and make us seen. Right?
Here's some extracts from his blog:

Release of 'The Invisible' pushed...
As of last week, the release date of The Invisible was officially pushed to mid-April. Probably April 13th, but it could slide a week or so in either direction. Honestly, the push was a relief for me, since it got the movie out of the unofficial dumping ground that January can sometimes be.
Starting next week, some various on-line stories should be appearing, with a much more robust MySpace and online presence beginning around the end of this month. After that, the traditional publicity/marketing push will move into high gear.
For those of you looking forward to the film, thanks for your patience.
I'll attempt to get off my ass and provide an update on other projects later this week.
Oh yeah -- to those people who've sent me various questions/requests, it's hard for me to answer all of those on a one-to-one basis. I'll try to cover as much as I can in various blog posts.
And for those people who've sent in requests for material to be viewed and/or read, unfortunately, legalities preclude me from doing so. I've also got a backlog of my own projects in the hopper that will likely take me five or six years to work through, so my plate's pretty full at this time.

Invisible online press...
So the first initial salvo of publicity is beginning to trickle out. A little while ago, I hosted an editing room visit with some writers from various online publications. I showed about half an hour of footage from the film, then gave a Q&A for the group. Check out some of the links to see what came from that:

I think all of these pieces fairly accurately reflect the film. It's always funny to read articles that you've taken part in. Because these are taped, the final pieces are transcribed -- sometimes weeks after the initial interview. And there are, inevitably, misquotes due to the vagaries of trying to transcribe someone's words!
Nothing on Chris on his page, other than the one TI pic with David and Justin that we already know.

I keep finding all this new stuff today. It's been a while since I've roamed around online for new Chris stuff. This is interesting:
http://movies.ign.com/articles/755/755708p1.html
I quote:
"Well, it's dark," he [David Goyer] says. "I mean, virtually everything I've done has been dark. I don't know if any of you have seen the first movie I did, but if you see that movie, it's not a stretch to see me do this movie. But if you see Blade or Threshold or even Batman Begins, it's a stretch. But I like sort of bouncing. I hope to continue to bounce back and forth."
As Goyer continues to polish his "jewel," it's apparent, even in this unfinished state, that this is a film not only unlike any other he's done, but unlike most films coming out right now. It's subtle and emotionally charged; more melodrama than drama, according to Goyer. "I can't think of many movies that sort of go there," he says. "Name the last melodrama — American melodrama — that was made. Can you guys? Name one."
Someone mentions American Beauty, then the room falls silent. Perhaps this film could be just the thing to revive the classic American melodrama. Stay tuned to IGN for more on this intriguing project.

American Melodrama, huh? Sorry, but it still has supernatural overtones so it doesn't really count, Dave. But OK. Wanna see a really great American melodrama that's just straight-up, no chaser? Try A Love Song For Bobby Long. Brilliant, powerful, highly entertaining recent drama.
Anyway, GREAT FINDS today, TeeJay. Love those new pics! Something I've been meaning to mention is how Goyer refers to Pete in one of those interviews as a sad-sack character who's always put-upon by others and Nick is the one who always protecting him. Makes what happens even more harsh and sad and intense.
I'll have to go listen to some more of this music now.
Nice way to start my day!!!
