Sorry guys, no Alphabet Soup today. I only just got home and I need to crash because I have to get up fairly early tomorrow. Will post the J story tomorrow, I promise.

Oh, Adam is cranky when sick. So... manly. Really, all men seem the same! The World ends when they get sick. Hilarious. lol

And they all want their mommies.  Even if "mommy" is their wife.  wink

Re: Alphabet Soup - Joan of Arcadia Style

Yeah! My hubby doesn't call me mommy, thank God! Some men do when they get kids. But hubby sometimes whispers to one of the kids "go say: mommy, daddy needs..." lol He's such a macho on some things and a bit embarrest about how much he enjoys my over-active nurturing instints...

Re: Alphabet Soup - Joan of Arcadia Style

That was so sad.  I love it.

I also looked at the reviews, this from Uncle Chuckie:

I'm afraid I'm puzzled by this one (H for Hurt). Granted that Grace doesn't know all of Joan's secrets, what on Earth motivated Joan to throw a high-heel shoe at Adam? It definitely doesn't sound like something God would tell her to do.

Because everything Joan does is something God told her to do.  Clearly, he's never heard of PMS.  At least now I know why Joan crossed the street...

Grace is God's girl, she would never do anything to hurt anyone, especially not anything malicious and premeditated! At least in Chuckie's universe......

But TeeJay does have a point.  Grace would never hurt another person, right?

Something like, "Honestly, Charles, do you really think that every little action Joan takes every day has to be dictated by God?  She's in a marriage.  People get frustrated, especially women at a certain time about once a month."  tongue

I thought L was beautiful, TeeJay. Not Adam's situation, of course, but how it played out.

Re: Alphabet Soup - Joan of Arcadia Style

Thanks, guys, you're making my day with your comments. I'm gonna keep trying to post a new story every day for the Alphabet Soup thing since I have them all written already. Not sure what's gonna be posted next after that, but I can already tell you that I'm not all that prolific right now where new stories are concerned. My urge to write comes and goes in phases.

Re: Alphabet Soup - Joan of Arcadia Style

Ok well it was likely that my horrible and terrible cold was actually swine flu..... I didnt bother going to the doctors cos at the moment its basically a 2 hour wait to see the doctor, to finally get tested and if you do have it be told bed rest. But the 2 options of people which i am likely to have caught it off have both been diagnosed with swine flu. Hahahaha and i thought it was sposed to be really bad. I have definitely been far more sick than this before
