Yeah, the US/Canada DVD drops on Chris Carter's birthday, 10/13.

And that one won't save either. It comes out tiny and named "protectedimage". I guess we're just never going to get any art from this movie that we can actually use.

Yep, Infestation screens at FrightFest in London this year. I've known for a little while, but I was asked not to say anything before the official announcement was made yesterday. Thanks for posting, Illinois!

They call it the world premiere. Hm... If it airs on US TV before that, I don't think that's quite true. Looks like it only screens once, on Aug 27 at 11:30 PM: http://www.frightfest.co.uk/frightfestfilms.html

I don't think I can make this one. I'd have to take two days off to fly to London on a Thursday and I'd have to book a (horribly expensive) hotel too. Since I already have the first two weeks off in August and my "backup colleague" has the last two weeks of August off, that's just not an option. Shame, I would have really liked to see it on the big screen.

Both say the movie is entertaining and funny but nothing near greatness, the second one gave it a 3 out of 5. The first one says about Chris: "[...] die Hauptfigur benimmt sich wie eine Parodie auf John Cusacks Standardfigur" (the lead character acts like a parody of John Cusack's standard character), whatever that means. But there we have another John Cusack reference.
