Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Can I do a half-smile? wink

Well, my day rapidly improved when I got home because I found out that the extra 512 MB RAM chip I bought actually works, so now Neo can work from a luscious 1 Gig of memory. Nice. Bosco didn't get an upgrade, though. Which is fine, I use Neo most of the time anyway, even though he's a bit slower than Bosco. And who now has no clue what I'm talking about, Neo is my PC and Bosco my laptop. smile

Thank you for the good news, Deb. Sorry for the negativity, but I just couldn't help it. I'll try to keep that swallowed down the next time.

You can be negative all you want just don't put it out there in the Universe.  You guys can discuss it between yourselves in your own special pessimistic German way, but keep your bad mojo away from me!  LOL.  lol

Negativity? Did I miss something? I wasn't negative at all. I have a great opportunity to earn my own money soon, so I have no reason to be negative.

No, I mean TeeJay can confide her pessimism about the whole FX thing not working out to you.  I can't be dragged into that.  I have to keep a positive thought, send it out into the Universe and visualize everything working out just the way we want it to.

We're all booked now: flight, car, hotel.  All set.

Only good mojo from now on, guys!

This isn't really a Chrissue, but I played around a little with Carl and made him more Chris- and less Carl-like. smile God, I love image editing! And I could just about fall in love with this picture.

Love the new banner, Anne. Good work! Shame you can't see Amber's blue hair as well as Chris's green, but I guess it's not as prominent to see for Amber here.

Well, you can see the blue hair at least a little, that's the main issue. Unfortunately I don't have another picture of Chris with the prize sticker. I would have chosen similar pictures, of course.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Not really a Chrissue, but I didn't know where to stick it without opening a new thread. I'm reviewing a monitoring report right now (written by a German lady in English) and it says: "Follow-up visit will not be performed (only a telephone occurred)."

Did it now? LOL

So, what would be my Chrissue of the day? That I'd love to redesign the Links part of the website but can't seem to finish reviewing this stupid report before I can start doing the fun stuff. Maybe I should just stop hanging out on the message board and finish my work. <sigh>

Yeah, that sounds funny. LOL Could be from that PowerPoint Presentation I sent to you today. Did you have a look at it? It's dead funny. LOL

Well, I could say my job interview is my Chrissue, but it was bad and bad things aren't supposed to be Chrissues, so ... what else could I say?

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

My Chrissue of the day is that I'm hoping for a movie poster that will feature Chris coming out some time soon. I don't really care which movie. The Invisible (though that's more likely to feature Justin Chatwin--if anything), Fanboys, Graduation, The Beautiful Ordinary, Charlie Banks. I don't care. Because I'm looking for a poster to replace the Sirius Black one ("Have you seen this wizard?") on my bathroom wall. It's been hanging there since I moved in (more than a year ago) and I need something fresh. And a more or less inconspicuous picture of Chris would just do the trick. smile

Yeah, a movie poster would be great. I could hang this on the door to my room. It's so empty there.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

The poster for The Invisible is that shadow of Justin with the hard rain pouring down.  So far, they're using that same image on all the posters I've seen.  So don't count on anything with Chris on it from that movie.  In fact, I'm betting your only chance is Fanboys.  And I'm also betting they'll use one of the group shots for the poster, probably the one with Sam holding the light saber that they had for signing at FX.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Yeah, I guess the best chance is the Fanboys poster. And I also think that they're gonna use the pic you mentioned, Deb. It just looks like the perfect movie picture, at least for me.

I want the poster! NOW!!! wink

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Whatever Fanboys picture they'll end up using for the poster, we'll know it already. Right? Would be a huge feat for them to come up with a pic that we haven't seen yet. And I'd totally hang a Fanboys poster in my bathroom, whatever it ends up becoming. I just hope you'll be able to buy them online somewhere. Not before the summer, though, probably. I don't see Chris appearing on any The Invisible posters either. But one can still hope, right?

If Graduation doesn't go to the theaters, there will most likely also not be any movie poster, right? Shame. I'd love to have a green-haired Carl in my bathroom. smile

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

No, I wouldn't count on a Graduation poster.  They used to do posters for the video stores, just like for the theatre, though they often bore little or no resemblance to the theatrical poster.  But since all the Mom & Pops are gone, and Blockbuster and Hollywood Video don't do posters, it's not so common anymore.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Yeah well, I don't count on Graduation either since I know that he didn't even appear on the GND poster back then. Although I HAVE seen a GND poster version which featured also Paul and Chris. I think it was a Spanish one`. I can't remember right now. LOL
I'd totally hang a Fanboys or Graduation poster in my apartment. I mean, I would even hang a Tic Code Poster, but here I'd prefer the German version. LOL

I WANT AGENCY PHOTOSHOOT PICS OF CHRIS!

I was looking through some old miscellaneous stuff from my old hard drive and I found this, one of my favorite pics of Scotty G:

ScottAgency.jpg

See how they can even make nerdy Morris kind of ruggedly handsome?

I know I need to make that call.

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

Oh, Scotty G's handsome, all right. Not really my type, though. And you're entitled to not find him handsome, Anne. We all have diferent tastes. I don't find David Krumholtz handsome, for instance. But I still like him.

Here's my not so Chrissy Chrissue of the day. I just discovered that Jay Baruchel had a guest spot on Numb3rs. Anne, did you talk about that already? I haven't seen the episode yet, but I caught a glimpse of him when I checked the s3 episodes DVD I just burned. At least now I'll get to hear his original voice for more than just those short scenes from the Fanboys trailer. I've already had my share of Sam (Superman Returns and CSI:NY) and of course I've had more than my share of Chris.

Gotta go finish burning all that stuff off my computer now. Hard drive's getting crowded.

Same here with Eddie Cahill, you know? wink

Uhm, I can't remember if we talked about that but of course I know that Jay was on Numb3rs. It's not so long ago since I watched this episode. He played some highschool dropout guy who is some math genius like Charlie, right?

Re: Your Chrissues of the Day

You know, it was never about Scott's looks for me, really.  I mean, he's really cute, but he's not what you'd call conventionally handsome.  However, when he was about 15-17, he completely adorable.  He had long, wavy hair and he was really funny and I wish I had some of those great teen mag pinups I've got of him scanned so I could show you.  He was on TV a lot and in movies and he was releasing his first record then and he even had a music video.

I've always been really annoyed with him for messing with his hair.  He darkened it for a while.  Didn't wanna be the carrot top, I guess.  And then he cut it off ridiculously short.  But hell, I don't care.  Still love the guy, always will.  Blows my mind that he'll be 36 this year.

This is what I really wanna see, Scott in concert...
