Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

They were funny yet annoying.  As soon as Jake stepped back and started lifting his shirt I knew they would start screaming.

I'm in a minority here, with my opinion of Jake... first of all because I can't stand the character.  And I know this is ridiculous but I hate Taylor's body.  To me it's too bulky too soon and screams steroids.  But then I'm not a fan of bulky guys in the first place... I much prefer Edward, skinny and toned.

Can't do too skinny.  And I just like 'em dark and swarthy.  Muscles are nice, but I don't like bulk either.  He doesn't look bulky to me.

That was a lot of screaming. Something tells me seeing this movie in a movie theater may be a bad idea but I'm far too interested in seeing it to wait for it to come out on DVD. tongue

Can you see the tiny bit of tattoo on Kristen's tummy, on the left side, mostly hidden under her jeans?  They say on the Runaways MB that she was filming the scene where she gets the "jet" tattoo before she headed down to ComicCon.  That's the tail of it.

Hee.  I never would've noticed it if someone hadn't pointed it out.  I didn't know Joan got a tat when she was a kid.  Apparently she and Cherie got inked together on the Japanese tour.

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

From Summit's Website:

Summit Entertainment announced today (7/28) that Bryce Dallas Howard will take over the role of "Victoria" in the studio's upcoming production of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE. Actress, Rachelle Lefevre, who portrayed the character in TWILIGHT as well as the upcoming release of THE TWILIGHT SAGA: NEW MOON, will not continue in the role due to scheduling conflicts with another commitment the actor has made. THE TWILIGHT SAGA: ECLIPSE will start filming in Vancouver this coming August.

I guess that explains why Bryce Dallas Howard was the most searched on Yahoo yesterday.

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

It totally sucks, I hate when movies recast! Victoria is really important in Eclipse and having Bryce.... idn just seems messed up. I feel really bad for Rachelle, a whole mess of miscommunication cost her her breaking role.

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

Honestly?  I don't feel bad for her.  It was her decision to sign onto another movie that would interfere with the rehearsals for Eclipse.  She knew that filming for these movies would be tight since they need to maintain the character's ages.  I don't know much about the film business, but I'd think it would be kind of hard to just hold off production for ten days for a minor character.  Yes, the character's important in Eclipse, but I think Bryce will do great in the role.

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

She should also know by now that Summit has no qualms about dumping people.  Look what Taylor had to do to stay on.  And Catherine Hardwicke can tell you they are only loyal to the product, not the people.

Yea I feel bad for her b/c she made that decision and I think she will regret it tremondously! Schedules are set and yet she takes on this role, it doesn't make sense. I hope Bryce impresses everyone and goes above and beyond, I havent liked her past movies she's been in... so I hope to be surprised.

I haven't really liked much of the stuff she's done so far either, but she's a really smart person and really sounds like she knows her craft.  She just keeps picking weird roles in stuff I don't care about.

Yea and her look is really innocent, in a way, and kinda alienesque, at least it was in Lady in the Water, which I thought was a really strange movie.

Exactly, ethereal.  I kinda like that movie.  It is bizarre and I've given up trying to understand it.  I just think the dialog is very clever, it's funny and Night is ADORABLE in his role.  It's fun to watch if you're in the right mood.

If you do, just go with it.  Just enjoy the ride and don't worry about where the bus headed.  tongue

I think Signs is Night's funniest movie, but LITW is a close second.

Bad way... I mean I'll watch it again but Idn it's just weird and scary. I don't like ghost movies(The Haunting in Connecticut was freaky, not to mention my brother came home and told me a/b the haunted hotel his conference was in:o) or alien movies, I guess b/c I believe that it could happen and it disturbs me.

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

I understand.  That's what I was wondering.  I used to really love that stuff.  But when I started losing my parents, I didn't want anything more to do with ghosts.  Before that, I was obsessed with The Sixth Sense.  I just fell so incredibly madly in love with that movi, saw it ten times in theaters.  And got my first DVD player just so I could buy that movie when it came out.  But in 2000, I lost my stepdad, then my dad 41 days later.  In 2003, I lost my mom.  I couldn't watch ghost stuff for YEARS.  Finally, I've gotten less freaked out about it.  Medium is one of my absolute favorite shows.  I also love Paranormal State.

Aliens/UFOs are a whole other ballgame for me.  I've been fascinated since I was a kid and I used to devour everything I could fins on the subject.  Nowadays, some of it wigs me out so badly I can't even look at it.  Whitley Strieber is my favorite writer and I visit his website every day.  But sometimes, the pictures and videos he links scare the crap out of me.  I never used to be afraid of this stuff and it kinda bothers me that I have no idea what happened.  I have this UFO art book that has pages I literally cannot stand to even glimpse.

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

I'm sorry about your parents.:(

The fact that freaks me out a/b them the most is there's nothing you can really do to stop a haunting, an exorcism yea but what if that doesn't work? I also know that loved ones are watching out for us and that's comforting to me and balances everything out.

The unknown is literally the most terrifying thing out there, also the most intriguing, which can be even more dangerous.

Now I'm curious a/b the UFO book, I might check out his site.
