I'm now certain that the car that almost hit Cooper at the beginning was driven by Sara and that's how he remembers her, but barely after the bug venom wore off. He started to yell at her and there was a quick cut. Then when he got inside he told someone he thought he'd just met his future wife. And they have that like/loathe thing going on. Wonder why they cut that out. Rankin said there's a romance. And it's obvious he likes her. Maybe they won't remember that's where they first saw each other till the end, I don't know. :clueless:

Despite the ending AWESOME HILARIOUS movie, one of Chris' best comedic/action performances IMO.

The movie's coming on again at 1 AM and I can't find it on On Demand, even though it's supposed to be there. Guess I'll watch again, unless I pass out first. You are all going to love Chris in this. He's cute as hell, very funny, very sweet, and just really badass at the end.

I know what you mean. The waits we have to endure for Chris movies is awful. Even worse for those of us outside the US. It's just not fair!

Just saw it, (3 hours behind here on the left coast). It was a lot of fun. definately worth a watch. The ending is the ending. It is a modern spin on the classic 50s monster movie where the would end with something like "The End?" Those movies always suggested that it wasn't over, and this is a different way of doing the same thing.

My one problem is a personal rant of mine. Why was the sound so useless. why do these small movies always hire hacks with experience to do their sound. This movie could have sounded really cool, and added a lot (imagine if the climax location had sounded creepy and alive instead of sounding like an empty office building). but instead of hiring someone who wants to do something great, they always panic and go with someone who has experience doing small features. (and there is a reason they are still doing low budget features)

All other aspects were really great. Actually I think this is one of my favorites of Chris's credits.

I couldn't even watch it.

The cable company here moved the Sci-Fi channel to Digital well over a year ago.

I guess because they think all the sci-fi geeks are into gadgets and thus already has HDTV and/or digital cable.

All I know is that I have to wait till the DVD. And even then it's not a DVD that I'll pay full price for. So when it goes for less than $10 or perhaps goes into the $5 dump bin then I'll buy it. $20 is just too much imo.
