Well, whoever ripped it, ripped it in such a way that one MP3 is one CD. Meaning one file is around 60 to 70 minutes long. And, yes, mine is exactly like that.

Oh, so it's not the original audiobook? Ah well, maybe I am going to buy it once I got the job. Thanks for answering.

It is the original audio book. It's just that I don't own the original audio book. You can only get the Jim Dale version on amazon.com or some other store that has US stuff. When you have it sent to Germany, you pay customs fees because its value is more than 22 EUR. They charged over 10 EUR for customs fees alone when I ordered the HP6 audio at amazon.com. Can you say rip-off?? Amazon.de only has the Stephen Fry (= UK) version.

Last time I checked amazon you could buy it from there. Now I can only find a cassette. Strange. Well, I might check out the British version too, since I have the British books.
Wow great, every British audio book is available, just the sixth one isn't. WTF???? :witsend::witsend::witsend:
Not that I wanna buy it right now ... but sometime I will!

Darn, they moved the release date for Harry Potter VI from Nov 21, 2008 to Jul 17, 2009. That's seven months! Not that this is a huge deal for me, but I'm still a little annoyed. I had been looking forward to seeing it this year.
Apparently the reason for the move is repercussions of the writer's strike. Huh? The movie's already finished, isn't it? At least finished with shooting...

I think that's gonna become the all purpose excuse for everything that's gone wrong this year. Obviously, there's a problem that they don't want to disclose.

Perhaps this is the reason.
From http://www.deadlinehollywooddaily.com/
Studio boss Alan Horn cited "repercussions of the writers' strike, which impacted the readiness of scripts for other films -- changing the competitive landscape for 2009 and offering new windows of opportunity that we wanted to take advantage of. We agreed the best strategy was to move Half-Blood Prince to July, where it perfectly fills the gap for a major tentpole release for mid-summer."

I already said how much I hate Equus. The poster does nothing to help me get over that loathing. God, what a sickness that play is.

I don't know what the real reason is, (although the real reason is usually that the movie stinks and they are trying to fix it), but a delay like this costs the studio a whole lot of money(in interest on the money invested and new advertising expenses all of which could be in the tens of millions of dollars), and they wouldn't delay the release for the reasons they are giving,

God: Anti climactic. Anti-climatic means you're against the weather.

Anyone seen the Half-Blood Prince yet? Though of course a ton from the book is missing (as usual, but unavoidable), I still really liked it, especially the cinematography. It had this epic, Lord-of-the-Ringsy feel to it. I was really impressed. Such a lot of beautiful images. I constantly wanted to make screencaptures.
Best thing was, they had some sort of special offer going on today, I only paid 3.50 EUR. Bargain!

I'm probably going to see it on Tuesday. I couldn't go last week because I was too packed with work and this weekend we had a family thing.

I went to go see the Half-Blood Prince today,Overall I thought it was a pretty good movie, But, in some parts in the beginning it seemed like the movie kept dragging on and on. There were a lot of younger kids behind me and they kept kicking my seat. I didn't think the movie theater would be as crowded. It was kind of difficult paying attention to the movie with all the kids talking

I went to see the movie yesterday with a friend I had over for one night. We thought it was a little "flat", but still good. And hey, maybe I'm going to meet Draco Malfoy and Neville Longbottom at Ring Con in October. LOL

Hey just figured I'd share the link to this album in case any of you were interested in seeing the few pictures I managed to get at the NYC premiere for Half Blood Prince before my camera died.
