Love that clip! It's nice that they gave it a little bit of closure anyway. Did they have a different kid playing Sam in the second season? I didn't see much of season 2. One of these days I'll have to have myself an OR marathon!

No, they same kid played Sam throughout the show, and in the first few minutes of the finale. I thought he was older than this, but he seemed to have hit puberty between taping the ending for the second season and the finale.

At the end they said "this thing is in diapers" which was a saying of Nick's, because he's too cool to say "it's a piece of cake".

Ah, cool. I'm just glad they got to wrap up most of the loose ends. At least it wasn't left with one of Satan's minions menacing the town, for instance.;) Too bad the Commander didn't make it. But at least they'll always have the binoculars and the non-stick sandwich maker.
