Oh, I had no time to post this earlier, but the book arrived here a few days ago. It looks great so far. It features the Watermelon seed poem which I just love because I once saw a video of Amber performing it in a REALLY funny way. LOL

You'd like the cafeteria at the John C. Lincoln Hospital here in Phoenix. The food is excellent and quite reasonably priced, and I get a discount because I'm a volunteer. I once ordered their prime rib which was so bloody that it kinda grossed me out, and I didn't eat it :puke:

I so wish I could be there too. This is frustrating ... I know I'd have the time and technically the money too, but ... I guess booking a flight NOW would be way too pricey.

I called around to all the Borders and Barnes & Nobles near both work and home today looking for a copy of Bang Ditto and no one had it. I wanted to buy it either at lunch or on the way home. Now I guess I'll have to order it from Amazon.

Wouldn't they be selling it at the book signing? You know, for you to grab a copy and have Amber sign it right there. At least that's how I thought that worked...

They have tons of copies at that location. But I'm not driving into Buckhead for it. And I don't want to wait three more weeks because I wanted to read it before the event. It'd be cool if I could actually talk to her about what's in it, not just say I'm excited to read it. Especially if I can talk to her for more than 30 seconds at the signing table.
