Really great pictures, TJ. I love them all, especially the waterfall and the flowers.

Ok so it doesnt really count as a trip considering its only for the day. But it is the first time in years that i will be on an airplane! Haha the flight is only an hour and a half. Heading up to Sydney for a meeting with work. Im just a little excited about the prospect of flying. I love it, just dont get to do it nearly enough.

I'm gonna be on the road again for a week from tomorrow. I will have internet access at my friend's place in England, so I probably won't really be "gone", but I will most likely not have as much time hanging out on the MB as usual. I'm gonna be back home next Saturday.

I don't know if anyone else in the US (or the world) knows what's gonna be happening in Pittsburgh starting tomorrow, but the G-20 Summit is going to be hosted downtown. The airspace over Pittsburgh was closed to commuter flights, which is really eerie where I live because there's no plane noise, which is usually constant.
Anyway, the town's going to basically be in lockdown, so my mom can't get to her office and the store where I work is only having limited staffing. So we're leaving early tomorrow morning and heading out towards Philly. I'll be back sometime on Sunday and have my computer with me but I don't know if I'll be able to get on the internet.

Probably best you get out of Dodge. Those things can get ugly. Take care!

Have a safe trip! You don't want to get stuck behind any motorcades anyway.

I apparently need to learn my days of the week. We're leaving day after tomorrow.
Didn't really want to be in a car all day tomorrow anyway.

I've posted a selection of my photos from my trip to Banbury just now. They start here (the earlier pics on that album are from my trip last year): http://teejay.bplaced.net/gallery/displ … =35&pos=38

Great pictures as always, TJ. You go girl!
I'm going to South Carolina this weekend with my parents. My mom won a vintage volkswagon convertible from ebay and since the drive up there is long we're going to stay there for the weekend. I can't wait!

I got back this morning from my little trip. I spent most of the weekend shopping, since the area we went to has amazing malls. We also went to the Amish settlements, Intercourse and Blue Ball (really) which was really interesting. There's some Amish people closer to where I live but they're more modern and usually ride bikes instead of horses, so it was fun to see the old horse and buggy stuff.
I didn't take my camera, which I really regretted because on the way up we went up and over the mountains instead of through tunnels and it was really beautiful. I borrowed a camera from the people were we staying with when we went to the Amish Country, but they asked us not to use it, so I didn't take any pictures.

Sounds great. Been thinking a lot about that story lately that I mentioned to you before that would involve an Amish girl on rumaspringa...

Sounds like a fun trip, Laura! Did you just shop, or did you buy anything?

Oh, we bought a ton of stuff. My car's a hatchback and the trunk and the backseat was full of our stuff.

Okay, so since this is probably the last time I'll be online: I'm going to head off to Mannheim tomorrow morning to meet up with a friend I am going to attend RingCon with. I'll be back Monday, hopefully with some great stories and photos to share.

Have a good trip and lots of fun! Some of our Trekdinner people will be at RingCon too, but none of them are Twilight fans, so...

I'm baaaaaaaaaaaaack!!!! :dancing::dancing::dancing:
I had the most awesome weekend since I came back from LA last year! It was AWESOME!!! I had photoshoots, got autographs AND ... (I almost can't believe it myself) got to ask two questions at one of the Twilight panels.
Please stay tuned for the pictures, the batteries of my camera died and I have to recharge them first. I also have to scan the autographs and wait for the jpg files of my photoshoot pictures. But I'll tell you everything.
I have to say it again: It was the the most awesome weekend since I came back from LA!!! :grovel:
