OK, so... Going to see Amber do her bookstore reading/signing tomorrow night and I'm taking the VR and the camera. I was never able to clear it with her people to do a little interview with her the way I wanted to, but I'm still gonna try. Everyone keep your fingers and toes crossed for me that I will come back with some new goodies on the other half of our favorite TV couple!

I got my copy a few weeks ago. Have already read a few of her poems, but my favorite one is still the watermelon seed one. It cracks me up everytime. I hope she'll read that one.

Success! I snagged that interview we've wanted for a year now.

Of course, it will have to be edited because we got interrupted a few times, but I think you guys will really enjoy it once we get it online. She told a HIGHlarious and potentially embarrassing story about Chris and did a full-on demonstration of Jason Ritter's favorite gag onset. Laura, I think you'll love what she had to say about The Unusuals and her experiences on that show. I tried to record the poetry reading too, but she didn't want to use the mic they had for her, so I'm not sure you'll be able to hear very much of it. But if you're reading along with your copy of the book, you should be able to decipher it.

I'll get the few pics I was able to take posted shortly. Just walked in the door and signed on. Need to take care of a couple of things and then I'll be back...

OK, they kinda suck, as usual, but here are the few pics I took. I just can't seem to hold the camera steady when I'm nervous and trying to be stealthy.

I wanted to point out that the bookstore guy in the pics was soooooo nice. He went looking for a quiet corner for us for the interview and brought chairs over there for it. Once again, the person who was running it said there would be no time for interviews and that we weren't allowed to take pics, but Amber over-ruled them. Despite the fact that she was dog-tired and had a dinner reservation she made time for everyone. Amber, you kinda rock.

I just saw on IMDb that Amber's done a movie called Main Street with Orlando Bloom and Colin Firth. Wow, she's really getting her face out there on the big screen, isn't she? Awesome! Sounds like this one might actually come to theaters over here.

Beyond a Reasonable Doubt had a limited release in the US in September? Did any of you guys see it? Apprently comes to Germany on 21 Jan 2010. So maybe I could see it on my birthday...
