I meant today, now that there's actual movement showing on IMDb. Last time someone changed the status on this one I got all excited for nothing. But hearing it from Mom after she got it straight from the horse's mouth, and then seeing the status change on IMDb makes me very hopeful. And very nervous at the same time. I swear, movies never used to be so fragile as they are these days. Used to be if a movie went into production (or even pre-production), chances are that you'd be seeing a finished film in a year or two. Nowadays, it seems like a movie can completely fall apart at almost any stage. It's scary.

Oh, I hope it's good news! I think this one could really be great. But, though they've stopped saying it's in pre-production, it's now up in the section of his "In Development" stuff. So I really hope this is a positive development. But those "In Development" projects usually seem quite a bit more theoretical than those in "Pre Production".

Oh crap, I didn't notice that. I just noticed it move up, "rumored" disappeared and so did "pre-production". You're right, this is actually probably more like bad news. That it's been sent into "development hell". I'm totally confused about what Tisha said now. :doh:

I'd watch Brandon Hardesty's YouTube channel or his website very closely. He tends to video-blog about his projects quite a lot. I know he's done a video-blog or two about KC, back when it still looked like it was gonna go into production in 2008.

Man, I have been waiting FOREVER for this film to come out! So it sounds like no one knows the deal with this project? I mean I assume they've already filmed it, right? Oh, I hope everything works out for this movie. I LOVE that Chris plays a lead!

It never got off the ground and right now, no one knows if it ever will. The SAG labor dispute killed it back in 2008. If we ever get an update, we will of course post it here.

No. That movie's already been made and in the theatres. LOL And while it's a perfect movie even without Chris, I would have liked to see a version with Chris as Aiden, too.

KC came out of Pro quarantine and is listed among Chris's regular credits again and you can see the cast list and details. No changes though, except a bunch of people have dropped off. But it was updated on September 30, 2010 and it's up 43% in the MovieMeter today. Makes me wonder if there's movement.
