I think TV On The Radio is a recently acquired taste. Might have something to do with their stuff being included on the soundtrack for The Invisible.

I think Tribeca announced their schedule:

TEOCB is not listed, though. Was it supposed to play in competition? If so, I don't think the movie made it to Tribeca after all. Bummer. Maybe they're gonna announce more movies later and it's gonna be among those. Let's hope so.

Could be that the movie premieres outside of competition. I think what they listed on that page was only those movies that play in competition. It would really suck if it didn't show at all.

But it's not only Chris who said that. I read on an Eva Amurri site yesterday that Eva told the webmasters it was gonna show at Tribeca. Guess they all thought it would. Maybe it still will. You know, outside of competition, like AD did at Sundance 2006.

Here we go, guys. It's official. TEOCB WILL debut at Tribeca in the Discovery Showcase (for new directors):

The Education of Charlie Banks, directed by Fred Durst, written by Peter Elkoff. (U.S.A) – World Premiere. Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst makes his directorial debut with this potent coming-of-age drama about confronting one's fears. Pensive, honorable college student Charlie Banks (Jesse Eisenberg) must reconcile with his past when he gets an unexpected visit from a hometown thug—who may or may not know that Charlie once ratted him out to the police.
No word on the exact time and date yet, but this is GREAT news! Pack your bags, Chris. You're going to Tribeca! (We hope)

Just some random information, Amber's movie "Normal Adolescent Behavior" is also going to be shown at the festival. Damn! This is like Sundance 2006 ... two movies with my two most favorite actors and I can't go because it's thousands of miles away. :mad::mad:

Just a quick note to say that I checked up on the Tribeca schedule and it will be published tomorrow, so we can see exactly when Charlie is showing. Hopefully, it'll be around the same time as Anton and Amber's movies so Chris can hook up with them at the fest if he gets to go.
