Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

I watched Michael Sheen in The Special Relationship last night.  He plays Tony Blair again.  He was wonderful as always.  But I do wish he'd kept his clothes on.  The best scene in the movie is near the end, an intimate conversation between Blair and Clinton about GW Bush.  You really get a peek behind the facade of politics.  And stick around for the tag after the credits, it really completes the portrait.  This movie shows exactly how Tony went from idealist to man-whore.

Vampires Rock! More Twi-messages for Miley Cyrus

Robert Pattinson thinks Miley Cyrus needs to see Eclipse. Taylor Lautner hopes the former Hannah Montana star digs werewolves. And Kristen Stewart is cool with Cyrus not liking vampires. So what do Stephenie Meyer and some of the other Twi-stars think about Miley's public declaration that she hates our favorite kind of bloodsucking dead people? Read on to find out… Stephenie Meyer: "I didn't like vampires before I started writing about them. I was so not into vampires. Maybe it will come to her when she's 30 like it did for me." Peter Facinelli: "I'm not necessarily a huge vampire fan, but I do love the books that Stephenie Meyer created. I love that you don't.

Saw Eclipse today. My review? I liked Twilight, I loved NewMoon, but I FRIGGIN ADORE Eclipse!!! It's definitely the best one out of the three movies. Going back on Wednesday to see it again.

I'm going to see Eclipse next Sunday. Cross your fingers that the theater won't be swamped with giggling, horny 16-year-old girls again.

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

It wasn't as bad at my theatre. Some cheered when Jacob got shirtless. Oh well, if they want to ... I actually thought about booing but I didn't. But there were more people who applauded after Edward's proposal, that was kind funny. big_smile
Can't wait to go back on Wednesday.

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

I saw the movie in theater almost two weeks ago. It was absolutely great. Didn't see anything wrong with it. I'm a bit worried to take another viewing. I'll probably start spotting mistakes.. But for now it seems likew a pretty damn good movie to me. Like a real movie, not a slooppy based on book crap like the first two. Proper script, proper director, proper acting. big_smile

Oh, and that wolf picture is just awesome, Deb! big_smile

Re: Twilight (contains spoilers for all books and the movies)

I can, of course, only speak for myself, but I think it's a little harsh to call the other two movies "crap". They may have their mistakes, but, considering that the first one was an indie production with a proportionally "low" budget they did pretty good. And New Moon isn't that bad either. There are a few minor things I would change, but I mean, I loved it even more than the first one although New Moon is my least favorite book. Although Eclipse is clearly the best one so far. I wonder if the Breaking Dawn movies will top it. Not so sure about that yet.
