I could go alone, but going alone to the theatre is only half of the fun. I need to talk to somebody after watching the movie. And you can't play my sugar momma forever.

Yeah, some people say that they would never go watch a movie in the theater by themselves. Fair enough. I actually prefer going on my own sometimes. Somehow makes it easier to get immersed in a movie. As for talking about the movie afterwards, I either write an e-mail to someone I know has seen it too or just post on the message board.

No, I don't like going alone. People stare at he even more than they usually do. I don't like that.

So? You're most likely never gonna meet any of them again. People tend to look at me funny when I walk out with my eyes all red when I've cried over something on screen again. But I don't care. I'm not ashamed of that.

I am not ashamed, I just don't like their stupid gazes. I am not a zoo animal.

Yeah, well, as much as it sucks, you can't do anything about it, can you? Other than putting on make-up, and I know you don't really like doing that. Gotta go what you feel comfortable with. I wish we were living closer together, so we could do some activities together.

You know, I tried applying for jobs near your place, but it didn't work ...
Yeah well, I don't know, maybe I can travel to Chibi's again or convince Nathalie to go with me once the movie's out here.

Whoohoo, IMDb finally made the correction I suggested, they now list Chris's character as Pete. They also changed the German release date to August 30.

You didn't know about the German August 30 pushback? They postponed it from June 21 to August 30 a while ago. I've known it for weeks. But that doesn't mean it sucks any less.

No, I didn't know about the pushback. Sorry. Why didn't you post it here? Or did you post it and I overread it?

I mentioned it here a few times, I think. I'm pretty sure I've posted something about it somewhere. Ah, here it is: http://www.chris-marquette.com/forum/vi … 4762#p4762
Some guy on IMDb posted that now the German release date was pushed forward to May 10. Yeah, I wish! I refuse to believe it unless I see it. All the German movie websites still list August 30, but maybe the info is brandnew and they haven't updated yet? But May 10 seems highly unlikely, it's way too close to the US release date.
Would be awesome if it were true, though!
And what is it with this bad timing? I won't be in Germany on May 10 and I won't be in Germany on August 30 either. There goes seeing the movie on release day night, like I did with Alpha Dog...

Hm. Must have overread that.
May 10? Sure! Hahaha. I mean, not that I am out of the country then, but that's very unlikely, isn't it? Stupid imdb jerks.

Well, it's not out of the question, but I'd need more proof than just some dude's word to get all jazzed about it.

Two new sites one, the official site,http://theinvisible.movies.go.com/ and a myspace www.myspace.com/theinvisiblemovie. Both have soundtrack info. Does anyone know if it's based off a book by the same title?
Offline
It's based on a Swedish film called Den Osynlige, that's based on a Swedish book of the same name. Both movies share the same screenwriter. And he says the book is not that great, but the premise was very cinematic. His main change was shifting the focus from the detective story to the personal stories of the people involved in the death.

I just wish they'd release the soundtrack already. It's right up my alley. I'd totally buy it. Wasn't it April 10 or something?

Here's a link to the TV trailer that should start showing on US TVs soon:
http://www.hollywood.com/content/traile … f=2&pref=1
There's nothing in it that's not in the trailer. You can see the bike scene with Chris very briefly.
And apparently here's a Justin Chatwin blog: http://alloy.com/5/59/2996/1/ref/archive/5/56/
I'm not so sure if it's real. Could be.

I am so going to watch this. In both languages of course. I mean, I'm not sure if I will be able to catch the OV somewhere near here, but I'll just look out for it, if not I'll just watch the German version and wait for the DVD. I mean, I'm going to buy it anyway.

Woo! I'm so happy for you guys. I couldn't stand having to wait as long as you both have for Chris's movies.

Wouldn't it be hilarious if they showed the movie at one of the Wednesday sneaks and I'd get to see it even before you guys in the US do? But let's not get ahead of ourselves...

Haha, that would be great! Totally fair too - you deserve to see a Chris movie before we're able to, since you've had to wait for all the others.

And will most likely have to wait for all the ones to follow. Unless he scores something really big one day that'll have one of those simultaneous worldwide releases. And you know what? We usually get those one day earlier than you because in Germany new movies come out on Thursdays and not Fridays.
Oh, and if things go really well, I will be able to watch Fanboys in August since I'm planning to visit Deb again then. Timely little visit.
