My friend Steffi and I are still on the mission to rewatch all of of the X-Files. We've now made it to season 8, and today we watched Mikey's episode. He was just a kid then. Played a 7th grader who could see the weird Indian mystic dude who was hiding from everybody else. And he was kinda cute, with his high children's voice and scrawny frame.

Oh, I knew he was in one episode. Just didn't know which one, and I didn't want to look it up. Figured I'd recognize him anyway (and of course I did, though his name was in the credits before he first appeared). The episode is called "Badlaa", from season 8. It was pretty creepy too. Made Steffi dream about slaughering elephants, apparently. I just dreamed about Eddie Cahill dancing with me. (No, seriously!)

From what I've seen of the premiere last night everyone looked really dapper. But Mike certainly stood out. I'm so glad he got rid of that Elf hair. (Which was probably a wig anyway, but still ...)

He is definitely playing an elf in the movie but I could totally see him pulling off angel as well...you are right there is something about him with the blonde hair that helps that image

Don't get excited. That is an exploitation flick. There's a real big screen re-telling of Hansel & Gretel coming. It was supposed to open in 2012, but it got pushed back to 2013. It stars Jeremy Renner.
