It's really not that awkward. Pretty intense actually. And he does have pain on his face that makes more sense when you know that the girl was jabbing him in the chest with a gun barrel so hard he got bruised.

Chris only gets asked one question, and the funniest thing is that in the 42 seconds and four sentences he has, he says "like" 10 times and "you know" 7 times. Chris, you really need to learn to switch off saying those words multiple times in every sentence.

ComingSoon.net: What was it like, working with the... I mean, you've got a lot of young people on the set, so, was that pretty fun or was that...?

Chris: Yeah, it was great, it was great, because you're... You know, it's nice because you feel a sense of, like-- I always felt a sense of, like, community with, like, you know, Margarita Levieva and Justin Chatwin because they're people like myself who are still figuring things out. You know, still, like, learning their own process and learning, like, you know, what kind of actor you wanna be, and, like, you know, it doesn't make you feel secluded. You're kinda, "Okay, I get it, I get it. You're working through that right now. Okay. I'm working through it too." You know, and, yeah, that was really nice to have, like, two people who are also, like, really insanely talented, so it was nice to, like, see, like, magic happen too, you know, from young people.

I finally listened to the Collider.com interview last night. What a great one. Chris said so many smart things. I already have a tremendous respect for the man, but he still manages to surprise me anew.

So, is this Guy's place something that "normal" people don't get into? Looks like Chris is into jazz... Not quite my cup of tea, but it doesn't have to be. We've already established that Chris and I are musically not compatible.

And, man, every time I hear what a hard time Chris had when he was shooting the movie, I just wanna hug him. CHRISNEEDSAHUG! Well, needed, I guess. Can't wait to see broody and wimpy Chris on screen. And I'd love to see that blooper where he had to grin at Justin saying something funny when he was supposed to be all serious.

You don't have to be into jazz to go to Jazz Night at Guy's. Those theme nights are more about a certain specific crowd than a particular style of music. A couple of years ago, this bunch was into poker, now it's jazz. How adorable! Did you read my post about Guy's, TeeJay? Regular people can go there, as long as they're "beautiful". LOL! What I'd pay to see is a buzzed Chris on Karaoke Night. That would be hilarious!

It may have taken in only $9 million, but Paramount's Disturbia remained at the top of the box office for the third week in a row over the weekend. Analysts were checking record books attempting to discover when -- if ever -- a film had pulled off a box-office hat trick with such little revenue in its third week. It was the lowest take for a No. 1 film since The Covenant last September, a month that studios generally write off because kids are returning to school. Disney's The Invisible, which had received little advance publicity, had generated little buzz, and was not screened for critics, finished in second place with $7.7 million -- the best of three debuts. which also included Next with $7.1 million and The Condemned with $3.8 million. The total box office was down 31 percent from the comparable week a year ago. However, all that is due to change with the release of Spider-Man 3 on Friday.
The top ten films over the weekend, according to final figures compiled by Media by Numbers (figures in parentheses represent total gross to date):

Not great, really, no. I'm sure they hoped for more. I thought Next would do a lot better than it did. Figured it for number one. If TI drops by half next weekend, which it's bound to do, it'll probably be gone the week after, what with Spiderman 3 coming out and all. Shame.

Yeah, but number one among low grosses is nothing special. Let's faxce it, by Hollywood standards, $7 million is chump change. It'll never make it's money back at this rate. Next week it probably won't even be in the Top 10.

Not gonna watch the video just yet, but thanks for the link.

The CineStar in Düsseldorf is showing (a dubbed version) of TI on Monday (May 7) as a preview. It will remain to be seen whether they're gonna show it on their regular schedule in English next week, but I'm not holding my breath. Let's see what happens when I get back from my business trip.

Watched Spiderman 3 yesterday, btw. Good fun! Mageina Tovah (= Glynis on JoA) is in it, too.

The Cinema in Stuttgart lists a "Kinowelt Testscreening", but I don't think that's TI. Would be cool, though.
Well, I guess I have to wait until Monday, then they'll release the schedule for May 10 - 16.
