Re: The Invisible

This is what Chris says in the second interview. For some reason I can't open the first one. IE always crashes and Firefox won't load it. I'm gonna try with Bosco later.

"I play Nick Powell's best friend, so he's a loner, cowardly character who has nothing going for him in his life except that he's got this really good friend who's about to kinda disappear from his life too. So he's this guy who... I always felt as the guy who, like, you know, walks through the hallway and nobody takes notice. Not because he's, like, you know, like, alone and he's a loner, they don't even know he's that, you know, he's just the guy who, you know, nobody will remember ever. Like, I went to high school with you, and, like, Really? Where'd you go? And, No idea, you know?"

Re: The Invisible

Aw, the first video is cute. Unfortunately, it doesn't play right with Bosco either, IE keeps crashing on me. But Chris is in it a lot. Let me try to type up what Chris says. They ask him what he'd do if he was invisible:

"I think I would go to the CIA or the FBI and look through, like, secret files. Find out where, like, Area 51 is. Go to that place, you know?"

Margarita talks about finding out about the secrets of Casting Directors, then it segues to Chris: "Find out their secrets and then write a book to everybody." Then the interviewer says something I don't understand, and then Chris says, "Exactly! Where nobody could see me so I wouldn't have to flinch at all."

Interviewer: "You had some roughing up in this movie."
Chris: "Yeah, you can say at least. Margarita beat the living hell outta me at certain points, yeah."
Interviewer: <in a teasing kinda way> "You got beaten up by a girl!"
Chris: "Yeah, she's tiny, but, I mean, don't mess with her. Seriously, she's, like, really got a fire inside, so..."

Dude, that sounds familiar. I think I have seen this before. Ah well, I have not the time to watch the videos now, I'll do it when I am back from Berlin and try to find a way to be able to watch them on Cooper too.

Re: The Invisible

He said something similar in the collider.com interview, I think, about wanting to stake out Area 51. Or one of the other text interviews. I definitely hadn't seen this video one before. And I think the first one only plays in IE and not in Firefox. And both IEs kept crashing on me. IE 7 on Bosco finally let me watch it, but only once.

Re: The Invisible

Well, in that case I can't watch the video at all because IE doesn't work right on Jean-Luc. It keeps telling me to activate the Addons again, but they are blocked. Hmpf. I wanna see this!!! Crap IE! Let me at least try the second one ....

Re: The Invisible

Well, you can still try, maybe it'll work on your computer. But I tried Firefox and Netscape, and the video plug-in thing just wouldn't load. For the record: I hate IE too.

Re: The Invisible

Well, it didn't work with Firefoy and I don't have Netscape. And like I said, IE doesn't work right at the moment and I can't figure out a solution. So I guess I have to live without getting this video to see. I'll try the second one.

Watched the second one. It's cool, although he mumbled a little too much for me. Sorry. :embarrassed:

Re: The Invisible

On junkets, they ask the same ridiculous questions over and over so you often get the same answers over and over.  I think he said that thing about Area 51 in at least 4 interviews.

Re: The Invisible

The second one was pretty good.  The first one wouldn't load for me either.  AOL sucks.

Re: The Invisible

It's actually an MSN video, it was just linked on AOL. So I guess saying Microsoft sucks would be more appropriate. But then again, AOL also sucks, so... wink And no wonder it would only load in IE and not in Firefox or Netscape if it's an MSN video. Bill Gates.

However... Here's the direct link to the stupid MSN video, I finally figured out a way how to get to it. Hope it works for you:

Re: The Invisible

I still can't download the video to my hard drive, it won't let me connect to the server when I try to save it to the hard drive. Guess they're not permitting you to download it. Darn! But now at least I can watch it properly.

And I think this is the dialogue in that one scene from it:

Chris: "Find out their secrets and then write a book to everybody."
Interviewer: "As long as you're not being up in that book."
Chris: "Exactly! Where nobody could see me so I wouldn't have to flinch at all."

Correct me if I'm wrong, I find it very hard to understand. And the grammar sounds wrong somehow...

Totally wrong.  "Being up"?  I'll see if I can figure it out when I get home.

Re: The Invisible

This is the exact same interview I was thinking it was.  I really liked her interview style because she woke them up.  Junkets can be so boring and she got them to engage.  I still have no idea exactly what she said in that one line we're questioning though.

Re: The Invisible

Dee's already got some "Pete" pants, and a shirt and a backpack and fake money and... what else Dee?

She'll also have Keith's toque from Alpha Dog in a few days.

And I have Keith's leather wristband from AD, which I was lucky enough to get Chris to sign back in January.

TeeJay has Keith's driver's license.

I think it's safe to say we LOVE memorabilia.  big_smile

I've never done eBay before this.  It's kinda fun.  I'm trying to win the Fanboys comic in the next few hours.

Re: The Invisible

Oh, there are pics of the autographed wristband and the DL and Dee's stuff too in the appropriate movie thread.  There are TONS of pics on our MB.  Even if you don't read the whole massive thing, scroll through each page for pics.  Some of them are ONLY on the MB.
