Chris Marquette Message Board

The more times over I read this blog story you have posted, Deb, the more I start to believe that this person who wrote the original article is confusing our beloved Chris Marquette film "The Girl Next Door (2004)" by Director Luke Greenfield, with the actual horror/smut film "The Girl Next Door" that shares the same TITLE but not the same story or actors/actresses (Elisha Cuthbert).

I can see how they would be confused because they share the same title. But rest assured these are two TOTALLY DIFFERENT films and this person has them confused. I dont believe the actress Elisha Cuthbert was on that billboard let alone even CASTED into that horror film. It was most like the actress from the HORROR film The Girl Next Door and this person simply got them mixed up and confused thinking they were one and the same film and that the actress on the board was Elisha.

This person needs to be made aware that these two films are two entirely seperate entities and the actress they saw on that terrible graphic billboard was not Elisha and was not made for the film we know and love (The Girl Next Door 2004) by Luke Greenfield. This article is not about our Chris film TGND but about the horror slasher smut film "The Girl Next Door."

Its easy to confuse the two because of the simliar title for those who dont know much about both films existence and having never seen them. I have seen both so I am aware of which one is which. This person obviously did not see either and is assuming they are one and the same and is involving Elisha Cuthbert in their anger. After Dark films has nothing to do with Luke Greenfield and Regency Enterprises and New Regency films.

I am going to attempt to contact this person and set the record straight explaining this to them. I feel you all should do the same so they know that billboard has nothing to do with OUR TGND film we love or anything to do with Elisha, her career, or Luke's TGND film. They need to be made aware so they wont be angry with this innocent comedy film we love and mixing it up assuming it is the despised horror film and the smut billboard advertisement for it they are trying to avoid and eradicate.

This is why I hate when films and music take COMMON phrases or titles and use them because then all you can do to seperate the films is search up the YEAR it was made, the CAST, or the DIRECTOR. This person DID NOT do that or do their research before launching into their tirade at Elisha or forming their angry group and it shows in bright colors.

Dont get me wrong, they had every right to be outraged by the PUBLIC violent billboard put grossly on display around children and people with traumas in their lives, and I support it 100% for them to want them taken down.  It is a terribly gross, misogynistic, and vulgar thing to put up in plain sight around women, children, mothers, rape/abuse victims, and other such people to have to look at such an eyesore.

But what I do NOT support is their unwillingness to INVESTIGATE the film they are despising and to actually go out and get INFORMATION about it and the actors or directors involved in it so they aren't mixing it up with another film that is HARMLESS and has nothing to do with what they saw.

I am redoing my introduction here about... four to five years later now is it?
Because over the years I have changed a lot and could potentially be considered a different person.

Some things have stayed the same, such as still thinking Eli in The Girl Next Door movie is SUPER CUTE.
Other things have not... such as I am no longer single, have had a boyfriend now for almost four years. We are very happy.

But all in all I guess I am still the same zany, sweet, goofy, funloving person I have always been. Just a little more calmed and toned down now.
Looking on my past posts I was ever the hyper one LOL.
And still can be from time to time.... especially on Christmas, Halloween, Easter, and Valentines Day. SUGARRRRRRRR. Hehehehe

But I wanted you all to know I am still here, still alive and kicking, still around, and still proud and happy to be a part of this MB.
Some of you may remember me... some of you may have forgotten and that is ok.

I did make myself scarce for quite some time because my laptop computers kept messing up on me. So I bought an HP PC and I have never been happier.
But most was due to having a nice life and adventure with my boyfriend, Chris.
Isn't it funny that his name is the same as our Chris we all know love and cherish here on this board? LOL
Talk about WEIRD....

But anyhoo, this is my chance to reintroduce myself, maybe make some new cool friends here, and to also give a fond shout out to all my past friends from this board.

But yes... I have missed this place and I miss you all very much. I hope all is well with you and I want you to know I will try harder to be around and let you all know whats up with me and to catch up with all of you as much as I can.

oh wow nice pics of him. Especially the younger one what a hunk! But haha its hard to keep that in mind when you are seeing him in his speedo in his little mansion house and sicking the parrot on Matthew. Assless chap type speedo anyone? HAHAHA!!!! OH WOW... It gets me every time to see his bottom. But for his age he actually has nice buns and nice toned chest muscles and arms. OH LORDY XD I normally do not think older men are sexy... well always except for Chris. He's the exception.

Just stumbled across this on Youtube and thought I would post it up. (its related to my post hehe) sorry if this has already been posted but just in case it wasn't I wanted to share this.

Its a really awesome fan made video on Youtube about Adam & Joan being unable to reconcile in time in an alternate universe of the Joan of Arcadia world. Its sad... but tastefully done. And since its a rainy day and Ive nothing better to do (besides watch TGND back to back ) it has inspired me to watch the entire series on box set today while Im stuck in doors. EDIT: Oh and we watched all the eps of Pasadena on CD that TeeJay sent to me. IT IS AN AMAZING series so JAMMPACKED with drama LMFAO and Chris's character was totally adorable and funny. But I did get the feeling that Mason is a stuck up lil rich boy that gets everything he wants from mommy and daddy and I could sense he would grow up to be a typical classed rich snob kind of man in the high ranking society later on once he had matured. But all the same his lines were hilarious and he really put feeling into his character (as usual) I expected NOTHING less from Chris.

Hehe it is very cool... Richard is a very awesome prominent figure in the showbiz of acting. Working with him must be amazing. Chris is so lucky... Ive decided to pursue my dream of acting and putting myself out there... no matter what it takes. Chris inspires me.

Ohhhh boy. *facepalms* I know this post is old but Im gonna go ahead and comment on it anyway. Poor Chris... hes cute handsome intelligent a great actor sweet and awesome... but man oh MAN IS HE CLUELESS  when it comes to zombies. Looks like Im going to have to save his a** :lol::lol:

First of all Ive been reading up on zombie apocalpyses, outbreak probabilities, scientific and government experiments going on to this day, and I have what is known as a Zombie Survival Plan. And I can tell you right now that going to a big major supermarket or shopping mall is a BAAAAD idea. EVERYONE will rush there. Just as they will be rushing to police stations, jails, and hospitals. Ive read the Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks (which I KNOW is satirical and fictional seeing as how his father is Mel Brooks and its meant as a joke) but there is some REALLY good survival stuff in that book.

First of all in a Zombie Plan you need to locate a place in your immediate area that is abandoned and fort-worthy. Someplace you can keep goods and supplies locked up and some place you can fortify so not only zombies but bandits and other intruders cant get into. Then you need to take stock of your supplies and make a list of things you will be needing in the near future once a full blown outbreak epidemic begins. Such as a first aid kit, tools, batteries with extra flashlights, a battery operated or solar operated radio, headphones for the radio, suntan lotion and mosquito repellant, a basic kit of medicines necessary to keep the body healthy, weapons such as sharp long battle ready melee weapons like a katana, axe, machetti, or crowbar. Definitely dont forget the excellent guns n ammo array of a semi automatic carbine as your primary weapon with a silencer and night vision scope and a 22. rimfire pistol for your secondary. The melee weapons should only be used as a back up once you run out of ammo for your guns.

With the sharp objects and the guns never forget to aim steady for the head... to destroy the brain.. or sever the zombie head with the sharp melee weapons: inthis case the Katana is best. Make sure its a REAL BATTLEREADY katana and not some cheap one from a hand me down store. Your life depends on staying low.. staying quiet... and keep on moving as no place is safe only SAFER. Once you have a reinforced fortress with all your supplies hidden and your chosen Zombie Emergency Swat team ready... you can comb the area and kill all the zombies in your immediate area and fortify the safe zone.

Trust me... ive read up on all of this and Im well prepared. XD I shall have to save poor Chris from the zombies in his local market and bring him back to the fortress along with all of you guys. HAHAHAHA!!! :D;):P
