This evenings purchases from Half Price Books shows the depths of my personality and interests!  Especially considering we had just seen step up revolution!

I did use it and it did work.  for the stains on the bottom of the carpet.  I'm going to try to mix some other cleaning stuff with clorox powder and see if that will help too.  Room is clean enough and ready enough for students tomorrow!    Can't believe its starting!

It costs so much money to set up a classroom.    It's quite surprising.  Last year I didn't care that much, for some odd reason this year I do.  I guess with 3 years experience I have more ideas of how to build a classroom now!

You could always have a stay cation and do your favorite things: read your favorite books, watch your favorite movies.  That's my back up plan if sis' wedding shower and plans gets in the way.  Doing yoga and having a nice evening in with a great movie is just a fine way to celebrate sometimes!  Get yourself a little present too.  Something you have been really wanting and know your friends won't get you.  Make it a treat to yourself and note that it means your 30s are going to be awesome!  Hope your birthday is better than you anticipate Anne!

Aww, don't dread it! My theory is my 30s have got to be better than my 20s!

My birthday lies in an awkward stage of it being a Wednesday night (school night) followed by my Sister's Wedding shower August 25th.  So I'm gathering with some friends August 19th and eating at a local favorite low key mexican food restaurant.  Probably having family dinner at my parents Wednesday.  I believe everyone (including me) is chipping in to get me a king charles Spaniel so that's my big plans!  I'm excited and anticipating the dog.  I've been searching and wanting one for two years now.  England was also the big 30th bash so I'm trying to keep it low key and save money but still enjoy it while I can.

Just putting it out there my big 30th b-day is August 22nd  it's a year round celebration this year!

Hmmm, we could really get into it on this discussion!  Praying for all lost no matter their beliefs and situations!

On a happier random school note our students closed the achievement gap by an 8 point net growth this year that is huge! congratulations to them considering they are in a disadvantage economically and in their own language.  8o
