Hahaha BOO!! Its just the letters of the word "Loves" and the how many times each letter is in the 2 names. Then you add the first 2 numbers together and then number 2 and number 3 together...etc. Until you get down to a 2 digit number and thats the percent. Childish...but hey, we were (are, hehe) children!

We did M.A.S.H slightly differently, we had someone start drawing a spiral and then at a random point shouted stop. And then you counted out how many lines from the centre and then at each number you count you cross out the option and which ever one is left is the one you have.

Hahaha remember that one? My favourite part about this one was if you got a percentage you werent happy with you included middle names or nicnames, whichever gave you the best percentage!

#404 Re: Chris On Screen » The Girl Next Door (ADULT LANGUAGE!!!) » 22 Sep 09 :: 07:39

Hahahahaa ohhhhh yeah we had the apple thing too....and on the letters you liked you pulled harder hoping to snap it. Hahahaha such fun memories

#405 Re: Chris On Screen » The Girl Next Door (ADULT LANGUAGE!!!) » 22 Sep 09 :: 06:49

Hahaha I feel like in primary school when you would write the your name with the surname of the boy you liked....OH OH OH or when you would find out the percentage of how much they loved you using the letters of your name. Am I the only freak or did you guys used to do that too?

#406 Re: Chris On Screen » The Girl Next Door (ADULT LANGUAGE!!!) » 22 Sep 09 :: 06:42

#407 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 22 Sep 09 :: 06:40

Awesome news Deb smile Hang in there! Its good to hear you will be relatively steady for the rest of the year.

And thanks Rick. Are they any good? Hahaha. And I could teach you a few things if you wanted. I have grown up Aussie Rules. Two brothers that both played from under 7's to under 18's. My oldest brother (28) has just started back up again in the local seniors team. My Dad was coach or trainer for YEARS. Well I know he started the year my oldest brother started and he was still going when my younger brother stopped. Im thinking 15 years or so coaching. I was the daughter that always wanted to play but wasnt allowed cos it was too rough. Every Saturday during the season was spent down at the oval. The last few years I havent been quite so into the AFL but I still love my Magpies. We are generally the team that everyone else loves to hate.

This is a youtube clip of Anthony Rocca (Sav's younger brother) -- He has just retired this year from AFL hoping to get a NRL deal like Sav did. They were HUGE kickers!

Is anyone on the MB a fan of the new show Glee? They were touring down in Australia this weekend and they showed up at the shopping centre I was shopping at. So I took some low quality photos on my phone but found it quite amusing just how many people were jumping up and down and screaming for these people when there has only been one episode aired in Australia so far. Just a teeny bit ridiculous if you ask me. But still it did seem like an alright show. Quite cutesy and not entirely there with reality but still entertaining enough.

Think I might just have to watch it myself to decide. I have never seen any of Todd Solondz before so not sure how I will take him. Its good to hear that its more positive than I first thought though smile YAY

#412 Re: Introduce Yourself » What's up, JoA fans? » 22 Sep 09 :: 01:53

Hey Poweranimals....welcome from me too! Yup alot of films were lacking in the publicity department. But they are still a really good watch if you get around to it smile

#413 Re: Joan of Arcadia » fanfic query re Ryan Hunter storyline » 22 Sep 09 :: 01:50

Yeah they were obviously changing the direction of the entire series. I agree with you Deb, should have left it the way it was and continued onto season 3!

#414 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 22 Sep 09 :: 01:48

Hahaha I am shocking when it comes to American Football. Does anyone know which team Sav Rocca is the kicker for? I will barrack for them. Sav used to play for my fav. AFL team and then moved over to the US to be the kicker. His brother is retiring this year from my team too. So when is the final? Thats the superbowl yeah??? (yes I am that ignorant) Our grand final is this coming weekend. Should be an amazing match!

#415 Re: Chris On Screen » Life During Wartime (STRONG LANGUAGE - ADULT CONTENT) » 22 Sep 09 :: 01:36

It seems like people are quite divided and against this movie sad I will still likely get around to watching it. But its kinda disappointing to hear it not doing so well.

#416 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 21 Sep 09 :: 13:09

If it helps any "my" team was beat senseless in the semi-finals 120 - 47. So so so sad.....

I realise that I have gone missing for the past few days. Havent had the best of days so i went running away and hid. But I am back smile Hi guys...missed you all

So what course are you studying then Moon??

#419 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 16 Sep 09 :: 06:14

Hahaha history was always my most hated subject too! Thankfully I was allowed to give it up after Year 9 smile

#420 Re: Off Topic Stuff » Randomness » 16 Sep 09 :: 04:34

Deb sad I hope it all works out for you. Sounds like the company is equally unsure of their position as you are of yours though, so you probably wont get clarity until they do. Job uncertainty sounds horrible though, specially with the economy the way it is. I love how the politicians here have managed to spin it so that TECHNICALLY Australia avoided the recession. But its only politician speak and therefore absolute crap!

Hang in there studying Moon. I was begging for my study to be over, but now it is I miss uni SOOO much! Grass is greener and such....

#421 Re: All About Chris » Funny screencaps » 15 Sep 09 :: 06:39
