I still can't fully understand why Zac Efron is as popular as he is.
I guess he's big with all the pre-teen/ teenage girls since that High School Musical 3 movie made over 40 million this past weekend. When was there the first 2?
Perhaps if I had children, especially girls, I would have to put up with buying these things on dvd. Gee, I would just be embarrassed buying any of the HS Musical films on dvd.
Plus the SUV matches the vehicle that they were looking for in connection with the Amber Alert for the nephew.
WGN is reporting that the police is saying the body of a 7 year old boy is inside. But they haven't confirmed yet that it's the nephew yet. But it looks like it is based on the age.
Seems like more sad news.
Hudson's 7 year old nephew was missing following the murders and now they are showing on the news a white Suburban that some sources are saying has the body of a young child in it.
Now at 8:48AM they are showing the Suburban being loaded onto a flatbed truck for further investigation.
Deb,
I saw your post on IMDB and I am sure you misunderstood me.
Excuse me, Illinois? Hard on that guy? He was the one flinging the very personal insults.
I posted about not being too hard on the digitalbits guy. Not whomever you are referring to. I'm sure that the guy who runs the digitalbits site didn't insult you on IMDB.
So we're having high winds today, up to 50MPH. Getting waves of rain. Now we're supposed to get snow showers tonight.
Kind of early for this type of weather.
The Incredible Hulk
Just watched it this weekend and I liked it. It's much better than the Ang Lee version.
It has at least 2 nice nods to the tv series. One with Lou Feringo (sp?) as a security guard and the little bit of music from the tv series when Banner would be walking down a road.
It does start a little slowly with Banner trying to find a cure. A soldier named Blonsky gets injected with some of the same stuff as Banner and becomes a super soldier. Of course he wants more of it and forces a scientist inject him with more of it and he becomes Abomination. The finale is the big battle between The Hulk and Abomination with some very good action.
Of the 3 summer films I've seen on dvd so far, it's my third favorite.
Bought these this morning from Walmart for $4 each
From MTV
Police are investigating the deaths of two people they believe to be related to singer/actress Jennifer Hudson.
Chicago police confirmed to MTV News that investigators are at the scene at a residence on the South side of Chicago, where two people, a male and a female, suffered fatal gunshot wounds; the representative said police believe both victims to be related to Hudson. Officers received a call shortly before 3 p.m. Friday, and upon arriving found the two victims. The incident has been declared a double homicide.
The Chicago Tribune reported that according to public records, the home is owned by Darnell Donerson, Jennifer Hudson's mother. The paper also reported that Hudson is not injured, according to her bodyguard.
One of the victims was a woman in her 50s who was shot in the head and the other was a 29-year-old man who was shot in the chest, a spokesman for the Cook County medical examiner's office told the Tribune. Chicago police spokeswoman Monique Bond told the paper that at least one victim is "believed to be" a relative of Jennifer Hudson. The shooting was believed to be related to a domestic disturbance, Bond said, emphasizing that the information was preliminary.
TMZ reported that the female victim is Hudson's mother, and the male victim is Hudson's older brother Jason, a mechanic.
A representative for the city's medical examiner's office told MTV News that they have an investigator on the scene but have no identification or preliminary information.
The police source told the Tribune that the bodies of a man and woman were discovered by a family member about 3 p.m. in the home in the 7000 block of South Yale Avenue.
MTV news will have more on this story as the investigation continues.
CHICAGO (AP) — Authorities in Chicago are investigating the deaths of two people whose bodies were found at a home that's listed under the same name as the mother of Jennifer Hudson.
The Cook County medical examiner's office says officials were dispatched Friday afternoon to a South Side home where the bodies of a man and a woman were found.
Police say they're at the home and two people were found unresponsive, but they have no other details.
Police tape blocks access to the large, white house, where a crowd has gathered outside.
Public listings show a Jennifer Hudson and Darnell Donerson at the address. Hudson, the Oscar-winning actress and singer, grew up in Chicago and her mother's name is Darnell Donerson.

Looks like we'll get our first taste of winter weather here soon. On Monday the high is predicted to be 39 F.
But the bad thing is that Halloween will be in the 60's. I hate Halloween. A few years ago idiots egged my car and I had a bitch of a time to remove the dried egg.
Poltergeist is right.

I thought it might be a good idea to post pics from around where you live or have lived.
They don't have to be yours. I guess a 30 mile radius would be good.

Fairly new Bolingbrook Promenade
2 aerial views of Bolingbrook Airport (to the left is a shopping mall with Meijer and Circuit City, at the bottom of the pic is another shopping center with a Best Buy)

Gee, I wish I could share some of my photos I've taken over the years. But I can't since I have a crappy computer and no way of inputting it into the computer.
In the past I've gone to car shows, air shows and some scenic spots such as Graue Mill in Oakbrook, Little Red Schoolhouse and wildlife in forest preserves.
Hopefully sometime soon I can get a better computer and upload some of my pics.
Some tips I've learned over the years is when taking pics of animals is to get down to their level. When taking pics of objects such as cars, planes or buildings is to take it at an angle to give it a 3-D effect - if taken straight on the subject has no depth and just looks flat. Composition is also very important, I always try and carefully frame it to at least balance the photo.
I'm really looking to get a digital camera once I get a new computer.
Matrix is right.

Right again.
