Also very cool was a trio of girls who were having trouble convincing one in their group not to be so  nervous about talking to him. (Sound like anyone we know? These three could be us. Heehee.)

ROFL
Yeah, that could definitely be us! LOL
I can picture that: Deb and Tina trying to convince Anne not to be too nervous and not to start doing some embarrassing things ... Oh God!!! yikes

Uhm... what else should they call him? Rodriguez? Or do you mean they should be calling him by his first name? Maybe they don't know each other that well. Or maybe McG wanted to make sure IESB knew which Chris he was talking about. I mean, who's McG to be weird about names anyway? What person calls himself McG in the first place! wink

LOL Yeah, that's what I think too. I mean, Marquette is his stage name, so why should they call him something else? Didn't they call him Marquette on the set of ROTN too? I remember reading something ...

Okay, I might check that out later.

Okay, thanks. Well, I don't know every outfit by heart, sorry. wink
I'll pay attention to that next time I watch JoA.

Uhm ... what Cuba T-Shirt? Did he wear that on the show? I can't remember right now.

Welcome to our boards, Courtney.
Yeah, it would have been cool to go to the con, but since I am also living in Germany ... well.

I listened to the soundtrack a few times and I have to say, I really like it. I mean, it's not the music I usually listen to, but I still like it. There is just one piece I can't stand and one piece which reminds me a little of the Titanic Soundtrack. But that's ok. LOL

That sounds definitely great. I mean, not that I don't like him in comedy, it's just that I prefer drama. wink

Ah well, a DVD is always better than nothing at all. So Tina, when you fly to America next time, you know what you can bring for me. wink

it's really not a blood & guts kind of thing.  It's much more about the inner journey of Paul Berlin.  I would dearly love to see Chris play this role.  it's terrific book so far!

Ah, okay, that sounds good. Then I might give it a chance. But I guess I'm still going to see the movie first and then read the book, since I have to find out if it's available in German, too.

Just got a call from Deb. She told me she pulled it off. big_smile You da (wo)man, Deb! She tried to take some pictures during the panel, but it was hard to keep the camera steady, so she doesn't know how many good ones will be among them. Let's hope we'll get a few at least. She'll also bring back a 30-minute interview with Chris, all recorded with our new voice recorder. She had him sign stuff and now she says she has a day to kill, so she'll probably go watch a movie or something. She just wanted to quickly call in and let me know that things worked out great, so that we don't have to cliffhang until tomorrow. Thanks! smile

This is so friggin cool, I almost cannot believe it! <bounce bounce <bounce> big_smile

Huh, the blue shirt looks exactly like the one they sold with the flower shorts. Hmmmmm ... ah well, maybe they had it twice, I've seen that before.
Yeah, Tina, I thought the same when I saw the licence. Very funny. LOL

He looks serious in the last one? He's got that almost-smile playing on his lips to me. And, yeah, we've discussed his shirt earlier in this thread somewhere, I think. I also think it's a cool shirt.

Oh yeah, I remember one video here ... big_smile
And I like the shirt, too.
