You like Numb3rs? I watched the first season regularly(sp?), but now, I catch a few episodes here and there. I usually end up missing them.
He was the small, spastic robber in Panic Room. Love that movie. My dad even likes it.
I also know him from Urban Legend, Lord Of War, and stuff. Good band, too.
He kinda is weird, but that's okay.
Okay, that's cool.
Since the end of 7th grade. My parents had it with the teachers and the school and when Spring Break came, my mom pulled me out, and after Spring Break I was being homeschooled. I love it. Teachers wer awful at school, and the school wasn't following my IEP, and I was just unhappy. Since I've been homeschooled, my grades have gone back to B's and A's. It's just a lot better and simpler. My mom writes out all the work in a notebook and I follow it. When I have an Exam, we send it to the school where we order my books, they grade it, send it back, and mom keeps it for records and stuff. Dad kinda just stays out of it. lol He tries to help, but he just gets nowhere. Poor guy.
So, your cousins kids, have they ever gone to Public School or were they always homeschooled?
That's something.
I'll wait till someone takes thiers to The Vintage instead of buying it elsewhere.
It's also one of the few that I follow as it airs,
I'm the same way. I always get into shows late when their off the air, and I get into reruns or it's the last season. Heroes is the only show now that I've actually followed from The pilot, Genesis, to the finale. Can't wait till the new season.
I start my school work on September 10th. I'm homeschooled, so mom usually starts me after Labor Day. My last year! I just had to order elective classes. I picked French, Latin, Spelling and Art. I'm actually excited.
And she was in Fifty Pills with Lou Taylor Pucci. I absolutely adore him!
She gets to work with the best people. Holding back jealousy a bit.
Same here. Never been.
I know what you mean, herromance. Like, I had to go to the next town. Where i live, we only have one theater that plays one movie. We're just now getting Harry potter. And I also don't think they'll show Superbad. They don't really seem to do 'R' rated movies.
But if it's something like Underdog, they'll keep that playing for 3 weeks.
Oh, okay.
..They actually have a Country Bears "ride"?
Platinum moment.
I got up today at 12:20, got ready in ten minutes and was out the door driving to see the movie. I got the 1:30 showing, the first one of the day, and got their about 1:05 and the 7 and 10 showings were already sold. People already had bought tickets for later screenings. Apparently the movie is doing pretty well. No Fanboys trailer. But the movie was great. Loved the cops in their. And Michael Cera. He was great. Had alot of that Arrested Development delivery.
So glad I got to see it.
Bad note, when I was driving home, about halfway there i got pulled over for speeding. I was going 60 in a 55 mph zone. I was just trying to pass somebody on those lanes that curve in. I was driving my mom's car and couldn't find her insurance, so I got a citation for that. All we have to do is go back to to their courthouse and show proof of insurance and I'm cleared. Wasn't to bad, Cop was nice. Just no insurance, but he let me go. My parents aren't mad or anything, so it's all cool. A little bit nerve-wracking, but.
Yeah, fine. Go ahead and gloat! lol
But yeah, it is a good thing. I'm positive it will be number 1 this Sunday.
And I am a little glad that I'll just go to the matinee tomo- well, today now. The drive home down empty roads won't be dark. And maybe it won't be so crowded.
Wow. I'm actually being positive.. sorry, it's a new experience for me.:)
No kidding. Also be nice if we could do that with celebrities who are in magazines. For me it would be:
Paris Hilton
Angelina Jolie
Brad Pitt
Tom Cruise
Britney Spears
Jessica & Ashlee Simpson(like they are really two different people).
Is your theme park ride adaptations suggesting Final Destination?:/ Then I couldn't agree more!
Well, I was able to drive over to the 7:15 show, so I left at 6:30, got there at 7:05, lines were crazy outside. Waited in line for about 5 minutes to get a ticket and go in, asked for Superbad. After all that, "Sorry. That's sold out."
For that theater, they usually have 1-2 screens of a movie. They asked if I would like to buy a ticket to something else, but I drove over there for Superbad. So, I left.
Looks like I'll catch the matinee tomorrow afterall.
People magazine seemed to like it.
Has anyone seen the trailer's for The Invasion of The Bodysnatchers remake? I like Nicole Kidman, so nothing against her, but like Deb said, isn't there anyone who can make a original Scifi movie anymore? There are some, but most are just remakes.
Besides, The Invasion reminds me of The Faculty, which was a pseudo-remake of IOTB except it kinda played on the concept and mentioned the book and used the book of the bodysnatchers to save themselves. So it wasn't a total cop-out.
Anyone think they'll go see The Invasion? --Even if it is another generic remake.
There's an Angel set like the Chosen Buffy set. It's blue instead of red. I think it's available in Europe more than the US. And you can get it from Amazon. I don't care, I have all the season's so whatever. But if anyone watches Angel as well, I can post a link to it.
We should make an award for his Eli caricature.
Well, the last two are from Doctor Who. David is the current Doctor and Christopher was the one David preceeded. Simon Amstell is an English comedian and TV presenter. I absolutely love him. Think he's adorable and funny. Zach is Sylar on Heroes. Dylan Moran is another UK actor and comedian, he's Irish, and he was in Black Books. One of the funniest shows ever. I have the first season, and him and Bill Bailey on there are priceless. But I think alot of my guys are from the UK.
I think I'll go see it tomorrow. I missed the early show today and the next time is 7:10 and my mom doesn't want me driving to another town at night, and a Friday to add, so I'll probably just go tomorrow.
I did want to see Death At A Funeral today, but the theater over there didn't have it. Only one theater in the whole state of Oklahoma is showing that movie, and it's in the city about an hour and a half away. So, I'm upset about that.
But can't wait for Superbad, it sounds hilarious. I'll come back to theis thread after I watch it.
Well, since it's his site, Chris will be first. Other's in no particular order:
Gary Oldman
Lou Taylor Pucci
Simon Pegg
Alan Rickman
Vincent D'Onofrio
Also,
Simon Amstell
Cillian murphy
Zachary Quinto
Dylan Moran
Bill Murray
Joseph Gordan Levitt
Jack Nicolson
Hugh Laurie
Ryan Gosling
Robert Duvall
James Spader
Samuel L. Jackson
Al Pacino
Aaron Stanford
Anthony Head
David Tennant
Christopher Eccelston
Oh, you meant Angel, lol sorry, I'm dumb.
Well, bookstores and Wal-Mart's are about $35.00- $40.00 and I got seasons 1, 2, 3, and 4 at The Vintage for $20.00. It's in Tulsa, so when we drive over there, that's usually where I buy movies and shows. I think there's also a Vintage in Arkansas. It's a cool place.
I bought season 5 at Hastings for about $35.00.
We got it when it first came out, and it was only $143.00. That's what my dad paid for it when he ordered it. I think we used Barnes & Noble online, and we had a member card, so that saved a little bit.
But compared to buying all seven seasons seperately, it saved a lot.
I am kinda a newcomer to the show. I began watching them when they were airing on FX. I began watching it May, 2005. That Christmas I begged and got my dad to buy me the Chosen Collection. So, it's up on my shelf to this day. And I bought all 5 Angel seasons in about a year. Bought 4 of them at The Vintage, so I got them pretty cheap.
I've probably seen all Buffy episodes 4 times. Even though it was off the air when I started watchong it, it was probably the first show that I really got into.
I'm having my own marathon too at the moment. lol
Except I'm trying a new angle for me. I'm watching every episode from the very last one in season 7 to Welcome To The Hellmouth.
I'm at Normal Again in season 6. So, I'll watch Hell's Bells next.
I never would watch it before because I thought, like so many idiots, it was just some dumb teen show about Vampires, but then when nothing was on those two years ago I finally just settled on Buffy, and I was hooked. I can't believe I missed out on such a show. But better late than never. I think the first episode I watched was Halloween or Killed By Death.
And Gnarly, I get you with the Oz/Tara thing. I hated that he left, but I really started liking Tara in later episodes. But when I see old ones from it, I start missing Oz.
If you need a Xander fix, maybe try The Zeppo or The Replacement when that demon made two Xander's. I loved Giles at the end of that one, the sophisticated Xander began to start acting like the slacker Xander and Giles says, "I believe he's a bad influence on himself."
