Girls, let's move this over to the JoA section. Click here to go there: Trial & Error discussion

Thanks for opening the new thread, Tina. I wanted to have a place where we can share our Top 5 Performances. We can talk about Trial&Error in the JoA Section.

#7530 Re: Joan of Arcadia » 2x19 Trial & Error » 25 Jul 06 :: 22:56

Oh yeah, the Airbrush scene. When I watched the whole episode it was like I could see the guilt just jumping out of his eyes. (Can I say it that way in English? I don't know a better translation for it, sorry.) And then the trial scene. I think I never saw a more powerful scene. I didn't know what to do. A part of me wanted to hate Adam for what he did to Joan and another part just wanted to hug and comfort him. It was weird, but I really felt like that.

#7531 Re: Joan of Arcadia » All time favorite scene » 25 Jul 06 :: 18:19

My all time favorite scene is the last scene from Recreation where Joan and Adam are dancing in the backyard of Joan's house after the "party".

But there are a lot more scenes I love very much. wink

I kind of stole the idea from Deb, but I think she'll be ok with that. wink

Here you can post your Top Five Chris Performances.
These are mine so far:

1) American Gun. Definitely my No. 1. No need to say more about that. big_smile
2) The Tic Code.  I had this "Wow"-Effect when I watched it for the first time. He was only 14 years old but he already played it so perfectly and just wonderful. The people who know me will know why this movie is so important for me.
3) JoA - especially Trial&Error - Break Up Scene. Definitely the most heartbreaking scene of the whole show (it breaks my heart every time I watch it), but the performance is just brilliant.
4) GND/Just Friends. I know JF is a stupid movie, but I love the way he grimaces in the Massage Scene! It's just so hilarious and it cracks me up every time I watch it. big_smile And GND is classic. big_smile
5) Top Five includes Miracles and Huff.

I suggest you to read it, it's just beautiful and very well-written!

#7534 Re: All About Chris » Your Chrissues of the Day » 25 Jul 06 :: 13:39

My Chrissue of the day is ... "Must Love Dogs"! I just finished watching this movie (bought the DVD on amazon) and I LOVE it!
Hey guys, if they will do a remake in 20 years or something, they HAVE to cast Chris for the role of Jake Anderson. LOL I know we had this idea that he looks like a young John Cusack and this movie just one more proof! Funny thing is, I had this idea already when I rewatched "Serendipity" the other day. Love that movie too. big_smile

#7535 Re: Chris On Screen » Huff » 25 Jul 06 :: 13:33

I think I should say something to his Huff performance(s) too.
It's completely different from everything I've seen of Chris before (like his performance as Adam in JoA), but I liked it! I like this ... mixture from sexiness (yeah, sexiness big_smile ) and darkness and menace and ... Deb, TeeJay, you know what I mean! LOL

#7536 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 25 Jul 06 :: 13:18

I think I just figured out the next thread we need! wink

#7537 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 25 Jul 06 :: 13:15

Ok, then maybe I mixed this up, sorry.

#7538 Re: Alles über Chris » Was so ansteht... » 24 Jul 06 :: 16:07

#7539 Re: Chris On Screen » Fanboys » 23 Jul 06 :: 22:31

Didn't we get the info that Hutch is the basement dweller and not Linus?

#7540 Re: Chris On Screen » American Gun » 23 Jul 06 :: 21:33

Definitely his best performance so far! smile
