Aaawww, it's COOPER!!! I love it, thank you so much! :embarrassed: :embarrassed: :embarrassed:

BTW, dumb question, but where does the picture from Maria's birthday graphic come from? Somehow I don't recall seeing that before ... sorry! LOL

#753 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 22 Jan 11 :: 01:10

Yeah, I kind of figured that. But I can dream, right? wink I really hope this movie will make it to my theatre soon.

And hey, since when does it matter how much someone is in a movie? I thought the performance counts! wink

Wow, I just learned 127 hours is nominated for a BAFTA award in the Outstanding British Film category. I never knew it was a British film, but I still think it's cool, of course. And Danny Boyle is also nominated as best director for the film.

OK, the film has even more nominations ... see the full list here:

The only one who's missing is Amber in the Supporting Actress category. sad

Wow, that looks great! Why does Germany never get the cool doodles? Ours is the usual one today. sad

Yeah, it's probably that "it" thing and I've been so long on Facebook by now, I'm already past it. LOL

It's definately an unusual score

The first Twilight movie also has an unusual score and obviously noone ever cared about that one. Not that I'm saying the Facebook one sucks, but with music it's either you like it or you don't. Just sayin' ... wink

Love it! LOL
And Happy Birthday to Maria. Sorry I'm late.

Good to hear about your mom, Anne. Speaking of your birthday coming up, thats also when Heath Ledger passed away. sad

Uh, yeah, thanks for reminding me. You think I could ever forget that? Well, you can be sure, I won't. This ruined the whole purpose of my 25th birthday. I wanted to feel happy that day because I had reached two of my biggest goals for that day. And then that happens. And now, three years later, I'll be 28, that's as old as he was when he died. Doesn't really makes me feel good about my birthday. Because that means next year I'll technically be older than he ever was. My mom thinks it's kind of ridiculous that I am feeling that way, but it's not like I can change it. She also thinks it's cheesy to light a candle for him, but I'll still do it. I did that ever since and I'm not going to stop now.

Yeah, it's January again, so that means I'm getting old. LOL

#762 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 20 Jan 11 :: 00:53

You know what, I actually downloaded the first episode of Off The Map because Rachelle Lefevre's in it. I haven't watched more than the first few minutes yet, but I'm definitely going to check it out soon.

That seems to be a popular topic right now. (And nooooo, I'm totally NOT thinking of Twilight or Vampire Diaries. LOL)

This version of Peggy Bundy would rip your arm off and beat you with it for making fun of her.  She's an awesome badass biker mama in Sons of Anarchy.  I love that show!

Well, I have never watched Sons of Anarchy and I grew up watching her as Peggy Bundy, so I guess that will never change, sorry. LOL

#765 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 20 Jan 11 :: 00:47

Whoops, I think I mixed Fox and ABC up. Probably because I am used to ABC as a "medical" network. LOL

#766 Re: Square Eyes » Life Unexpected » 20 Jan 11 :: 00:45

I'm working on getting the newest episodes. I can't believe another great show is dead. sad

#767 Re: Square Eyes » Amber Tamblyn » 20 Jan 11 :: 00:39

Isn't House an ABC show? Maybe they don't even know they were in JoA.

If Cooper would stop crashing again all the time I would have helped you. Or is it not too late yet? I mean, I had planned a little new birthday graphic anyway but well, like I said, if Cooper keeps crashing like he does recently, I don't know if I'll be able to do it. neutral

A ghost, a vampire and a werewolf are roommates, trying to "be human".  That's pretty much the whole thing in a nutshell.  I'm told the British version is great.

I can see the vampire and werewolf thing working out, but a GHOST? Like, a real GHOST trying to be human? Hmmmmh, THAT sounds interesting!

Guys, sorry for being kind of MIA at the moment, yesterday I wasn't really in the mood for internet and did only the usual stuff I always do every day, like Twitter and Facebook, but had absolutely nothing to really talk about ... and today I needed a day out of my apartment, so I dealt with my employment agency first, then had an appointment at the eye doc (sorry, I'm too lazy to find out how to type the real word, I guess you know what I mean anyway LOL), then went to my theatre to see Little Fockers and FINALLY saw a bookstore from the inside again. I just needed that.

#771 Re: Square Eyes » The Social Network » 19 Jan 11 :: 01:09

I want The King's Speech to win even though I haven't seen it yet, I just don't get why The Social Network was so successful at the Golden Globes. The music was totally weird, why did THAT win??? yikes
I mean, it's a good movie and I kinda like it but to me it's not Golden Globe or Oscar material ...

#772 Re: Chris On Screen » Dear Roommate » 19 Jan 11 :: 01:08

I agree with Deb, it's a perfect, cute little short film. There is no more length needed here.

#773 Re: Square Eyes » 2011 Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Awards » 19 Jan 11 :: 01:03

I actually watched this one live. Yeah, at 2am in the morning. But it was a great show. I was like "I want Colin Firth to win Best Actor." and just a second later he did! Woohoo! LOL
And when Katey Sagal won, I was like, "Wait, Peggy Bundy won for Drama? LOL"

#774 Re: Chris On Screen » The Rite » 19 Jan 11 :: 01:00

A few days ago I was online on a British (I think) website and the trailer showed up just like that. I was like "Oh, that's Chris's new film but he isn't even in the trailer." and got all disappointed.

#775 Re: All About Chris » Photo thread » 19 Jan 11 :: 00:58

No problem. I noticed that only because I was looking for your birthday. LOL
