Thanks to everyone who kept my mom in their prayers and thoughts. It worked. I visited her in the hospital today (but she called me already yesterday, in case you didn't catch that on Facebook or Twitter), and she is fine - Thank God!!!
She'll stay in the hospital for the week and if everything is good by then she is allowed to go home. And here's some funny random fact: She's in the same hospital I was born almost 28 years ago ... in fact today is EXACTLY ONE WEEK before my birthday! So, I joked if she has to stay another week I'll come back and we're going to have a biiiig party! LOL (But that's not what I hope, I want her to be home of course!)

Jesse Eisenberg is a great actor! Oh, BTW, each time I go to my OV theatre I have a nice chat with the owner about movies (obviously! LOL) and last time we happened to speak about Jesse and The Social Network and he accidently mixed him up with Michael Cera, because he thought Jesse was also in Scott Pilgrim vs. the World! I was like, "Sorry, Mister, you're wrong about that!" LOL
At the end we even talked a bit about Justin Timberlake and he said his voice in Yogi Bear is annoying. I said the only JT movies I have seen so far are Alpha Dog and The Social Network and in both I did not find his voice annoying. And well, I'm not planning to see Yogi Bear, so I guess I'll never know.

My mom is now in hospital. She was there on Tuesday already, bu they sent her home again until today. And tomorrow she will definitely have the operation. Please keep her in your thoughts. Thanks.

Sounds like a horrible dream! 
I once dreamt I was pregnant, too, but it wasn't a scary dream, it was more like an awfully embarrassing dream ... I once knew a guy, though, who had this book about dream interpretation and I think it said pregnancy means you are eager to start something new. Now I am not sure how accurate this book is, so I don't know what it means if the baby is in danger ... maybe that new thing you're about to start is in danger, too?
Oh God, this is starting to sound scary, I think I'll rather shut up now.

I can't order from Amazon UK and when I was in London the British version wasn't out yet. And I will NOT buy a German version of Fanboys. I want my own English one. I am just picky with some stuff here, sorry. So I'll order it from cd-wow sometime soon. I'm planning on buying something from there soon anyway.

Well, you can always choose not to accept her friend request. I do that all the time with random people who want to friend me whom I don't even know.
Yeah, I also do that with people I don't even know, but they are more on myspace than Facebook, thank God. I've friended her for now, I guess I'll see if she keeps talking to me. If not, I'll just delete her again. I admit, it was kind of funny to talk to her again. She now lives in my old town, even in the sames street I used to live in, that was kind of funny.

I am still jealous, Kate! LOL I'd love to travel the world with a backpack, like you do at the moment! But somehow I either don't have the time OR I'm too short on money ... and you need both at the same time to be able to travel, I know! I guess I am cursed here. Let's hope I'll at least make it to Vienna one day in near future. I have seen a few places in Europe and I even went to China once, but that was just holidays, not actual traveling.
I do have a plan for my 30iest birthday though, I'd like to go to New York for that one ... don't know if that'll work out, though. As it looks now I'm going to need a shipload of money for that and I have only two years to save money. At least it's going to be two years soon enough ...

Yeah, seeing House win was great! It's such a cool show, still. That would be great if we could see more of Amber in it.
Edit: Did you know Amber is currently in Africa? Or actually, I don't know if she's still there but she said in her (new) blog she was going there. I just checked her blog, and she posted something about her New Year's Eve. She must be having a great time there. I am so jealous! LOL Everyone is traveling abroad at the moment, why can't I? *sigh*

Yeah, I think I'll do that, too. It's probably just because I have a lot of nasty stuff in my life going on right now and The Rite is not the kind of movie I want to see Chris in at the moment. I guess it's too dark for me right now. I would love to see him in bigger roles, like the kind of drama I like to watch, or maybe even a comedy again. But I'll take what I guess as he is still my favorite actor.

My bestfriend Lysa has two lumps on her throat. Shes going January 4 to the doctor I really hope shes going to be ok.
Crossing my fingers for her. My mom got diagnosed with breast cancer in mid december, hopefully this is also going to be over soon.

Cooper works fine with 1280x800. I could change the resolution, but that makes everything look weird and it also doesn't go higher than what I have now. Maybe when I buy a new laptop I'll buy a bigger one, I haven't decided yet since I can't buy new techtoys anyway at the moment.
