Check out our Twitter account, I retweeted a whole lot of tweets last night where people got a picture with him at Monster Mania: https://twitter.com/cmarquettefans
I especially like the silly ones, like the duck facing:
Not sure where this was, but it looks like Chris is doing the convention circuit this year as well. Here's a few photos from a girl who met him. http://lookingfordevon.tumblr.com/post/ … -marquette
Okay, so why on earth would the movie be released on Blu-ray in the US and only on DVD in the UK? That kinda sucks, cause I'd have ordered the UK version. However, I much prefer Blu-ray. People, you are encouraging piracy with this shit! Not a happy camper right now.
EDIT: The Blu-ray will be released in Germany on April 14 (for half the price of the US version). Guess I'm gonna go for that, then. And I guess that means this one doesn't get a cinematical release at all, right?
The Odd Way Home will have another screening on March 8, 2014 at the Omaha Film Festival. The festival website has info on the screen times and how to get tickets.
I've made some screencaps from the Odd Way Home festival trailer today. Enjoy! http://www.chris-marquette.com/gallery/ … ?album=266
It still got four seasons, which isn't too bad, I suppose. I haven't followed the ratings, so I don't know how well it did. Presumably not well enough to warrant a 5th season. I just hope it doesn't end in a huge cliffhanger.
Sammy Huntington's show, Being Human US, was just cancelled. Real shame, I've grown very attached to it.
I found a bunch of premiere pics on Flickr that I don't think we've seen yet:
Thanks!
Did you see the post Amber made on Facebook a few days ago? Too funny!
@jason_ritter and I having delusions of Girardi. Obviously the third season would be in 3D, based on the projected budget.

And it's gone again from his credits. May just have been a fluke. Peter Outerbridge had a credit for Agents of SHIELD on IMDb for a while before it vanished again. He was never on the TV show. Might also be they wanna wait until the cast has officially been announced. Who knows. Guess we should keep an eye on that one.
Happy Birthday, Deb! Made this one especially for you! (Lots of more or less recent Chris goodness.)
It's that time of the year again!
I saw The Hobbit both in 2D and 3D HFR this week. I didn't enjoy part 2 as much as part 1, and I thought the whole Super-Legolas Megahero thing was totally overdone to the point where it became ridiculous. Too much focus on the elves and too little on the dwarfs. I also saw The Hunger Games part 2 earlier this month, and enjoyed that too.
I think he posted about it on his Facebook page shortly before it aired, or maybe his mom did. I've never seen Grimm, so my interest wasn't really that piqued, I have to admit.
Yeah, they cut out the whole part where they go climb the damn mountain.
Ha, yeah! Have you seen it? Cause, without spoiling the movie, I think I can say that climbing Kilmanjaro is just a metaphor, and the movie is actually split into all the mountain climbing phases, such as Basecamp, ascent, summit, descent, etc.
Nothing says "captivating movie" quite like taking notes on the first viewing every time Chris appears for the screencaps later on.
Suffice to say, I was not impressed. I mean, it's not a bad movie. It's lightyears better than that 10 Rules How To Waste Money On A Movie crap. But the mediocre reviews, in my eyes, were justified. Chris has several scenes, but he plays a yuppie jerk. I think The Odd Way Home may be our gem among all the stuff he's done recently. Cause this one sure ain't. (Weirdly enough, it's just 75 minutes long. Aren't features supposed to be 90 minutes or more? Or did they cut something out of the iTunes version?)
Screencaps to follow, but I'm not sure if I can do them tonight.
Just a reminder for those who have access: The movie is available on demand now (and on iTunes).
Dana Brunetti spills the beans on what happened with Fanboys in a collider.com interview: http://collider.com/dana-brunetti-fanboys-interview
While we're sharing medical issues, I've had sclerotherapy on my first varicose vein on Tuesday. Thanks, Mom, for the bad connective tissue genes. But here's the good thing: It doesn't hurt. The very unsexy compression stocking is a pain in the butt, though. Then again, there could be worse things, so I'm not complaining. Much.
Hope everyone is feeling a little better today. Happy weekend, everyone. TGIF!
Kilimanjaro is now available for pre-order on iTunes in the US: https://itunes.apple.com/us/movie/kilim … mpt=11l3HL Expected release date: Nov 19, 2013
That awkward moment when Monty Python ruins your ability to enjoy dramatic cinematic revelations.
I was just about to post it. Very cute indeed. And I so wish we could see the movie, it looks amazing.
One week from today, Kilimanjaro will be heading to the Rehoboth Beach Independent Film Festival in Delaware. The movie is screening on Saturday (11/9) at 4:20pm and Sunday (11/10) at 12:10pm.
Matt Goldberg from collider.com didn't seem to like the movie at all: http://collider.com/kilimanjaro-review/
