Oh, I'm so tired.. I've been sleeping really badly all week. Like 5 hours a night. I'm too damn restless in the evenings to go to sleep and then I have to wake up 6.20 am four days a week... *yawn* And today I've got so much to do. I have to clean like crazy and I don't feel like it. And 4pm my friend comes over and leaves her 4 month old and 1,5 year old boys here until tomorrow. I promised her to take them tonight 'cause she's having some tough times. I couldn't say no. I can never say no when someone asks if I can take care of their baby. It's a build in- thing for me. I like taking care of babies. Even if my boys were pretty hard in their first years.. It's hard work and I don't know how I'll manage till tomorrow with five high maintenance kids.. Just my own boys make me pretty weary these days. And still, I can't say no if a friend asks for my help. Yay, atleast I can still say I'm not selfish.. I'm pretty sure I'll manage. I don't think JTT is going anywhere so he can be helpful. ![]()
We have a bit different holiday foods in Finland, but I've always wanted to taste those american foods. I'll bet I' like turkey even more than I like ham. I've always liked birds.
And it's more healthy. Lately I've actually felt sick after eating red meat, especially pork. But still, I like the christmas ham. it's so good with all the yummy condiments. Last few years the turkey has made it's way to the Finnish table too. I wonder if it's harder to cook than ham.. Ofcourse I'd have to make all the american condiments then too...
But answer to your question: I like it all. I can't think of one I wouldn't want to atleast taste. Oh well, from Illinois' list I might say I'd propably like low fat eggnog over the regular too. And noup, eggnog really isn't very popular in Finnish holiday tables.
Already almost thru New moon?
Anne, you're getting faster.
Just what happened to me. It only took me half the time to read new moon as it did to read Twilight. They keep getting better and better and I learned reading faster and faster thanks to that.
I wouldn't even call it reading anymore. It was more like gulping it like there's no tomorrow. Now I'm seriously planning to read Twilight again next weekend.. Can't wait.
Answer me this; should I read Midnight sun before or after reading Twilight? ![]()
Oh, geez.. Christmas is certainly coming.. Check out this wacky article that was actually in a news paper here.. http://www.iltasanomat.fi/viihde/uutinen.asp?id=1617906
Of course it's in finnish but this is what it is basicly saying:
Lapland central hospital checked Santa's healthSanta got checked out by a surgeon. Additional check up was done by anonymous "Arctic circle's elflogy specialist".
Statement was made by Santa's request. Headquarters tell us this REAL Santa is youthful and healthy for his age. He's the same as last year. He has a good heart, accurate eyesight and his hearing is good enough to hear the elfs. So he's ready for his duties.
Are this type of articles common in other parts of the World? I think we've got news like this for few years now.. Kinda makes embarressed but also, it's really funny. They're trying to sound so serious in that article. ![]()
I actually made me an avatar and a sig for twimoms..
Crappy ones but will do. You can check them from that same link..http://twilightmomsforums.freeforums.or … 17541.html
You live alone, Anne? How can your place be messy then if you've just been reading? Oh never mind. I just got a flash back about my own lifestyle before kids.. I left everything where it dropped. :embarrassed: And I've always hated housekeeping. I'm next in line to strangle the sadist that came up with it. I've always cleaned as little as possible. When I was still living at my mom's, I drove everybody nuts by letting my room turn into a catastrophe area and then once in a month or two got some weird spasm to carry out everything but the bed and cleaned like crazy. And I had these spasms in the middle of the night. Can't really do that anymore, would wake the kids!
for chrissake!

Now they just started second season in finnish TV. No Chris Lowell.. I don't like it. I still feel like all the storyline are forced...
I could have answered that question about periods too. I'm just as bad of a weirdo as you are, Anne! ![]()
Guess who became a Twilight mom yesterday?
http://twilightmomsforums.freeforums.or … 17541.html Of all the Twilight forums I've found this looks like the greatest!
Oh, don't worry. I'm not planning to link my every post here. Just this once. All though I did post there a post about my boys but I'll spare you from that. ![]()
Do you guys use any other forums?
I worried about the same ting, Anne. I was watching some fanmade 'musicvideos' and came across somekind of 'photoalbum'. So I knew some of the things that was going to happen. But it didn't ruin it for me anyway. It was still quite enjoyable.
There was still lots of cool things I didn't know about. And you know how it is with Stephenie's books. Some things are pretty predictable but still you can't take your eyes of them books. Something hypnotic about her style of writing. There's no other response to it than love the story anyway.
What was it about New moon that bugs you?
He really likes that sock-story. This morning I watched some video with some Twilight-actors on stage with fans asking them questions and he told a short version about the socks again. Seemed to me a bit like the other actors got sick of him talking more than the others. Didn't really seem like he liked that interview alot, as part of a group interview. He tried hogging the spotlight all the time. ![]()
 Is it a bad thing that this made me laugh? Really cracked me up! ![]()
Twilight trailer spoof

 I'm starting to like Emmett and Jasper more and more with these hotties as their incarnations...
This was great!
Song called Jacob Black.
Hey, wanna buy a JoA-script?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi … 0324901076
Just something I came around. I didn't even knew they sold scripts too in ebay. I really don't know crap about ebay..
This is fun. Hangman-game about Twilight. Would be even better if there was an actual animation of someone drawing the hanged man when you do mistakes. But anyways, nice to dig the brain for Twiwords! ![]()
Scifi.com interviews with Kristin and Rob.
I didn't even know there was such thing as Black friday. Sounds pretty much like the kind of day, I'd stay far far away from any stores. I hate growds and standingin lines. I actually get dizzy if I have to stand in one place for long, especially in lines and growds. Might be something to do with me having a low blood pressure. Or air getting thin... Or it's just the stress of it all. I've always hated shopping....
Yeah, I was planning on ordering The Host sometime next month. Is it very selfish of me to get myself a christmas present like that?
I'll bet it will arrive sometime close to christmas if I order it around December 6th... Selfish or not, I don't care
I've been pretty unselfish person most of my life. Lately under so much pressure, I have the right to spoil my self with a good book every now and then... And it's not like someone realizes to get it for me anyways..
I too am a big fan of Chris' Adamy-hairstyle. In Trial and error it's the best looking hair I've seen on a guy's head. ![]()
Hey, do you think maybe we should start a petition called "Let Chris keep his hair!" ? ![]()
Now I've done it. I just finished reading Breaking dawn. *sigh* I am a freaking idiot to read it so fast. I should have tried rationing it to make it last longer! I was devouring. My family most have thought the book grew roots in my hand. I've been carrying it around practically three and a half day straight. I've actually taken a little naps holding it under my head!
Sure, it's big enough to be a pillow!
5-6 hours at a time has it been off my hands; placed in the highest shelf so that my demolishing sons can't get to it. What the heck am I supposed to read now...?
um.. Wait a day or two; a few weeks maximum and I'll find myself missing the Cullens and Jake so bad I'll start again from the beginning. Wanna bet?
I think every book was better than the previous. Could totally see Stephenie evolve as a writer. Good for her. Can't wait what other enchanting stories she comes up with. So if I had to pick my favorite Twilight book, I'd say Breaking Dawn. I don't care if some people think it's somehow wrong. I see it totally fitting in the storyline. And in BD I could relate to Bella more than before. I found many things incommon with her...
I only wish the movie is half as good as the book.
The trailers and clips do look pretty good. I'm a bit worried if Kristin and Rob look a bit too old for 17 year olds. Especially if they'll make three more movies with the same cast.. I have to say; without makeup Rob looks like 30... I don't get the hype around him. Just feel bad about the lack of privacy he has to deal with now..

The Twilight saga keeps me breaking my reading records. I've been reaging Breaking dawn for two days; 13 hours if I count just the hours. And I've got 386 pages read already. Three hours and the first Bella-part the night before yesterday. Last night i read for about 8 or 9 hours and the Jacob-part. I went to bed 2.30 and woke up 7.30; started reading again as soon as I got my eyes opened. What the heck is it with these books that makes reading them feel like breathing? Like it's something I just have to keep on doing...
And can I just say: I loved reading from Jacob's point of view. My favorite fictional character ever!
Stephenie is so talented. I've now read from Bella's, Edward's and Jacob's view and they are all different. As if there really was three different people telling the story. Amazing. Amazingly absorbing story, amazingly enchanting people that don't really feel like fictional anymore. Like I know them inside out. Better than my self. Must take a prodigy to write something so captivating. Three hurrays for Stephenie! ![]()
... And now I just have to start reading again.. So chapter 20, here I come. Diving in, head first. ![]()
Oh, bummer. Tell him to act his age... If someone called me a teenage fangirl, I'd punch him. My brothers know by now not to piss me off. Now that they're bigger than me I don't feel bad about getting back at them what ever they get in mind. When we were kids they used to make my life a living pain because I didn't want to hurt them annoying little bastards. I'm not a violent person but nowdays I know how to defend my self.. And will know even better when I loose some weight and start either Hapkido or kick boxing. ![]()
Aah, brothers! Never know if I want to hit them or hug them. Thank God they're getting a bit nicer now that't they're both past 20 years. Can't believe how fast time goes. Wasn't it just few weeks ago when my youngest little brother was 10 and always hanging on my hair?
This is just me rambling about hairdye..
I dyed my hair yesterday. I got tired of beeing a blonde. Blondes don't have more fun! I dyed my hair blonde for a half a year and now realized it's one of the things making me blue. Made me feel like I'm not myself anymore. So I wanted to closer to my own color; mid-brown with a shade of red. In the past I've liked dying my hair with darker shades of brownish red. So that's what I'm heading for now. I decided it's better to get there shade by shade. I've heard horror stories about dyejobs gone wrong. So this time I dyed with light brown. I kinda like this color there is now. It kinda looks like not quite brown but not blonde either. Something in the middle.
It looks good everyelse but in my bathroom mirror. The light there gives it a bit of green shade! So I'll propably dye again with darker brown in a few weeks.
I swear it has nothing to do with "Edward prefers brunettes"!
I'm a Jacob-girl ![]()
